I did not know how tired I was until I was given the chance to slow down this week. I feel like I’ve been going constantly (not only physically but also mentally) since July. This week I’ve gotten a little break and wow. Sometimes it doesn’t all catch up to you until you get a chance to stop and breath. I’ve been taking this week slow to get back on track and then next week starts packing up, organizing, picking out paint colors, etc for the new space!

last weeks wedding was just a little extra special. my dad and ’s dad met in first grade and the rest is history. I was honored to do flowers for Maddie & Cory’s day, even more so to stand up in the wedding as well. Maddie gave me some guidance but put her trust in me and I ran with it. It was a couple of years in the making and was one for the books. Such a beautiful fall day to celebrate their love with family and friends!

going into a little break from weddings these next few weeks. much needed to get organized, start working on my new space, and meet with some wonderful 2025 couples! also getting to enjoy some of fall up north at the cabin (which I haven’t been able to do much these past few years so pretty excited)

It’s been a year since I took a chance and posted that I was opening my own flower business. I was so nervous and didn’t think anyone would reach out for flowers. I thought maybe I’d get 1-2 weddings this past year, I was wrong. It’s been such an amazing year. I’ve grown, learned, laughed, stressed, and have so many big things coming for this next year. So many amazing people I’ve gotten to work with and so many more to come. The biggest news is I just signed a lease for a space! Although I’m still trying to figure out what the space will function like, it will mainly be a studio workspace for me but I do think I’ll have limited open hours to pop in and get some flowers. Stay tuned as I get the space ready and let you all know more about it! So excited (& a little nervous)!

So here’s to probably the craziest and most stressful past year and on to another one! For now we celebrate with my first booked couple and their wedding, let the festivities (& some work) begin! 😉
