“I have never NOT had fun while filming a wedding”, says Eric Ash the owner and lead camera operator and video editor of Viva La Video llc. “I can honestly say that after 15 years experience in crashing weddings with a camera in my hand. None of my footage has ever made it on America’s Funniest Home Videos but trust me when I tell you there would be plenty of material to pull from.”
“I find it funny yet comforting to know I still get nervous and feel butterflies floating around before I arrive on location. Before my arrival I hope and pray I that I can somehow create something special and worthy of this wedding couple.”
“This career takes me all across this great state of Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesotta, Illinois, Texas, California, and back to my Mother’s homeland in Germany to record a day that happens once in a lifetime. It also happens to be a day in which time moves in double speed. Each wedding day flies by and leaves a happy couple wishing and praying for time to stand still, I know because almost every couple tells me at the latter part of the reception.”
