When I met and for their engagement session with me we immediately hit it off. They are sweet and kind, thoughtful and funny and not only that absolutely stunning. After that session, Melissa sent me one of the most beautiful notes I have ever received about my photography. She expressed how it made her feel about the way she looked and how excited she was about taking more at her wedding. This feeling of not feeling like you actually look good in photos is such a universal feeling for a lot of people! And I joke with my clients all the time that when you pick a photographer don’t just pick someone who can take beautiful photos, pick someone who takes photos of you that you look at think omg is that me or a model?!? Facial expressions, body positioning, posing all are expertise that really, really make a difference. Thanks to a fantastic vendor team!

These two right here!!!! are my real life wedding couple from almost a year ago to the day. When first approached me about speaking and bringing in a couple to model for the these guys right here immediately popped into my head. They didn’t pop into my head only because of their immaculate style, or the fact that we only got to do a micro-wedding and I wanted more time with them…they also popped into my mind because their love is such a beautiful example for me. It isn’t “perfect”, it isn’t without bumps in the road. It’s real, has had so much growth and gives me so much hope for a real and true love in my own life. I’m so happy to have met these two beautiful humans and to have gotten to spend the day creating more magic with them. Eric and Chris I appreciate you sharing your time, your love and the magic of who you are with myself, Leyla and all the attendees of the I also want to give a huge shout out to for having this great idea. To for always being the PERFECT backdrop to create amazing moments. for being an incredible teacher and friend. for not only delicious food but also so stunning to look at! for providing the disco balls for my ceremony site vision! Jade for making that vision happen! And for the incredible floral installations!

Janet and Gary closed out my 2023 weddings and I couldn’t ask for a better couple to end my year on. Not only are they both kind, hilarious and fun but their community was a blast to be around! This was my first time (the venue) and from the beauty of the venue itself to the stellar management and staff all I can say is I cannot wait to be back! As potential clients are starting their venue hunts I definitely recommend adding !

This post is devoted to details! Who knew such tiny little things would be controversial in the wedding industry? How much money and thought should you spend on them? How much time should your photographer allocate to capturing them?! I tell all my clients that’s completely up to you! Don’t let me tell you, or your planner tell you. When you look at other weddings do you enjoy them? Do they inspire memories or feelings for you? Then yeah maybe you are a details person. But if you aren’t that’s ok! You can put your focus into the guests, the food, or the location. It’s your day! But here’s a shout out to my couple who did have some really great details this year. From handmade cake topper, to D and D dice, super sweet dragon ring box, amazing bubble guns, cute AF heart colored glasses for the guests and definitely made it a blast to tell their story and get to learn a little about what they love.
