The SugarFest Life is sweeter at The SugarFest! Join us on August 30, 2025 for food, fun, and fireworks! Recently, a group a citizens decided to change that. And there it was!

The Making of SugarFest
Years ago the City of Arab had a fireworks show hosted by a local citizen. But, alas, there have been no fireworks lighting the sky above Arab for many, many years. But before they knew it, other ideas for the community were being thrown out left & right: an Arts & Crafts Show, a Kid’s Area, Food Trucks, a Carnival, a 5k Race, live music until the fireworks show had grown

into a one day community festival! But what to call it? Is it a music festival? An Arts & Crafts Show? What will it grow to be? What is the one thing those all have in common? It’s in the South and life is sweeter in the South, right sugar? SugarFest! Taking place annually on the Saturday of Labor Day at Arab City Park, we hope you will make plans to attend!

We are very excited about this upcoming year. Registrations are coming in daily and we can't wait to see what everyone has to offer. I wanted to take a second and update everyone on the status of registrations at this time:
* All applications have been reviewed at this time and decisions have been sent out. If you have applied and have not heard from me, please email [email protected].
* All Exclusive booths have been filled and there will not be any more available for this year.
* Adult clothing spaces have been filled and any new registrations will be placed on our waiting list. Availability is based on the total number of vendors and can change as our event grows.
* Permanent Jewelry spaces have been filled and there will be no more added.
* Freeze Dried Candy spaces are filled and there will be no more added this year.
