Dear Community Members, Vendors, Sponsors, and Volunteers
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the cancellation of the 2025 SugarFest, which was originally scheduled for August 30th. As many of you know, SugarFest is a cherished tradition for our small town of Arab, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors for a day of celebration and fun. We look forward to this event every year, and we know you do as well.
However, due to an exciting new development in our community, we are unfortunately unable to hold SugarFest this year. The city has recently approved the construction of a new Recreation Center, which will begin before our planned festival date. While we are sad to see SugarFest go uncelebrated this year, we are thrilled about the opportunities the new Rec center will bring to our town. This facility will be a hub for future community events, recreation, and growth, something we can all look forward to in the years to come.
We appreciate your understanding as we make way for this important development, and we are optimistic about the positive impact this new center will have on Arab’s future. We look forward to welcoming you all back to a bigger, better SugarFest in 2026, with new spaces and opportunities to gather and celebrate together.
