The Arcadia Woman's Club recently held its Fabulous Fall Fashion Show - "Autumn Glitter". It was a sell-out and huge success. Thank you to Karen of Magnolia Boutique for the wonderful fashions and narration. Our models were terrific. Senator Susan Rubio made a special presentation.

October 5, 2022, was a special day for the Arcadia Woman's Club and the City of Arcadia. A celebration was held to unveil the plaque designating the Arcadia Woman's Club Clubhouse as City of Arcadia Historic Landmark No. 1. Enjoy the photos from this very special historic occasion.

At its June meeting, members of the Arcadia Woman's Club brought new clothing items to benefit Serenity, a non-profit foster and adoption agency. Serenity’s mission is to break the cycle of abuse through early intervention programs for child victims and their biological family. Serenity's goal is to provide healing to children and restoration to families through the provision of treatment, resources and quality care. Children are placed with Serenity sometimes at a moments notice, lots of times with nothing but the clothes on their body. The new clothing and shoes provided by the AWC gives these children fresh outfits as they begin their healing.

The Arcadia Woman's Club presented two scholarships to graduates of AUSD's Rancho Learning Center on June 1. These ambitious young women juggled school and work to graduate early and will be pursuing careers in nursing and marketing. Arcadia Woman's Club president Cheryl Chrell Alberg presented the awards in a ceremony held at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center.

The Arcadia Woman's Club recently hosted its Arcadia Police and Fire Appreciation Luncheon at our historic Clubhouse. It was a privilege to serve our City's First Responders a hot meal to show in a small way how very thankful we are for their excellent service to our community. Thank you APD and AFD for all you do to keep Arcadia safe!

Arcadia Woman’s Club Holiday lunch was all about “giving” today. All those gifts under the tree were donated by AWC members for a family in need. A mother and her 4 children recently left an abusive husband and had to leave everything behind. They are now living in Arcadia and the kids are in Arcadia schools. They have no money for Christmas gifts, so AWC is making Christmas special for this courageous family. I was impressed that one of the things the mother asked for was a grocery store gift card for food. That’s what she wanted for Christmas. That’s what I got her. Merry Christmas!
