Colby has his bachelor and master degrees from the California Institute of the Arts where he studied music of India, Ghana, Indonesia, Iran, Egypt, and more. Currently, he resides in Humboldt County 🌲where he leads a local ensemble called 'Atsia' and performs regularly with many more such as the 🎼Eureka Symphony, Skywater Kirtan Band, and others.
