The number one question I get asked lately.... why do you grow flowers? Why not just buy them and save yourself some time?
There are sooo many reasons why we have grown flowers for the last ten years. Here are the most important reasons:

1. Quality.... when I order flowers they have to be shipped across seas and are sometimes in a box for up to two weeks. Growing flowers allows us to cut fresh and have more control with what we are getting. I always plant many different types of certain colors so I know I will have a good replacement on hand whenever needed.

2. Marriage... this is simply something my husband and I really love doing together. He grew our wedding flowers, and we have grown flowers since. He loves weeding and working with his hands, and there is nothing more fun than ordering seeds and dreaming and planning for the summer to come on those winter days. Ten years of growing flowers and we are always learning something new. It is fun to do and have something we enjoy together.

3. Brides... We grow flowers in our brides color scheme. After booking with us, we order and make sure to grow what they want. This allows us to create unique bridal bouquets with flowers that they love :) We can even meet with them out in the fields and have them pick exactly what they want to go into their arrangements. I feel like it gives them a very unique experience.

4. Our children... We have been homeschooling for the past year and I believe it is really amazing for my children to watch their mother do something she is passionate about and has created a career while at home with them. I want them to see that they can make a life doing something they love. Our lifestyle has created some truly nature loving kiddos. They love being apart of the process and I am already seeing some entrepreneurial skills from them. Having my business be seasonal has allowed me to homeschool in the winter and unschooled during the summer where they can dive into their passions and learn what they are interested in. It allows us flexibility and I can watch them grow and learn while making a full time income. I am sincerely thankful to all of the brides that have chosen me and have allowed me to have this lifestyle
