For anyone joining us for the first time in January for one of our dances, here's a picture that shows how to find the Arlington Ballroom and where to park.
The Arlington Ballroom is at 3260 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA. There is some parking in the lot to the left of the building and directly behind. This parking is free. You can also park on the street or a nearby parking garage. Colonial Parking is less than two blocks away and is $4 for the evening.

January 7th 2023 Saturday- our first dance of the New Year!

We're shakin' things up a bit in the New Year- and this dance will have some latin flare!
730 pm Salsa Lesson 815 pm Rumba Lesson! Yes, Rumba!
9 to 12 Open dance- with latin and swing
We'll mix salsa, rumba, bachata and a meringue or two into swing dancing... should be a fabulous evening!
Not many chances to learn the rumba so take advantage!

Happy New Year 2023 from All About Dance VA MD DC!

At the end of the year, it's time to reflect. I'm very thankful to have been able to start All About Dance, LLC this year as a way to provide dances to everyone in the area. It has been one of my dreams for a very long time to hold different styles of dances and get everyone together to create a local dance family.
It's so exciting to see people dancing to country music one week, and then trying a ballroom waltz, and then swingin' to east coast a week later. It's fabulous to be able to expand everyone's dance knowledge with different types of lessons and dances. And, having people come back each week and get to know one another is amazing. Hoping some people have started what will continue to be long term friendships, and feel a part of our dance community. Perhaps these will even spark a few romances if they haven't already lol.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken the time to attend one or many of our dances, and to everyone who has helped make them possible. Thank you to all of our amazing instructors this year who presented different types of dances! Many thanks to those who have helped with setup and tear down, and have helped at the door. We couldn't present all of these dances without you.
It's been a great start to this small business for 2022. We have held 39 dances this year, starting with Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. There were definitely a few setbacks! Such as the Firehouse closing down for several months when a truck hit the building and damaging the fire escape, as well as the struggle to find new temporary locations. Thank you to the spots who have enabled us to continue- including Arlington Ballroom and Jazzercise.
This year, we just got started. Looking forward to some NEW things in 2023 and holding some amazing dances!

Small Business Saturday
Hello Everyone! It's small business Saturday and as you all know by now our small business All About Dance took a HUGE HIT when the Firehouse closed down for repair (in August!). We're now using a smaller venue most Satudays and a venue in Herndon on the 4th Saturdays of the month. I could really truly use your support. Here are a few ways to help support All About Dance and our continuing of Saturday dances:
1. Attend the country dance this evening in Herndon at Jazzercise at 8 pm - the event is listed here on the page with details.
2. Purchase a ticket for one of our two upcoming ticketed events. Both have an early bird special currently. WCS/Blues night December 3rd or Josh Allen Band February 4th.
3. Purchase a donation ticket for the December 3rd event even if you can't come- to help support our dances.
4. Attend any of our amazing December dances on the 3rd, 10th and 17th.
5. If you would like to make an alternative donation, please let me know and I can let you know details on how to do so.
Thank you in advance for helping us continue our dances while we wait for the Firehouse to reopen.

How to find the event and where to park:
You will turn off of Spring Street onto Sunset Park Drive. Go back the drive and then turn right and another right. As you can see from this map below, it's on the backside. The whole lot has free parking.
