Hello Friends! This is me, Emily Linville, the REAL Emily. Not, the hacker who is pretending to me and posting a bunch of cryptocurrency crap!

I have successfully recovered my account (for the second time) for now, anyway. Although, I fear the hacker may take over again soon due to faulty Facebook security controls. Reach out to me if you want to hear more about that. It is very ALARMING.

💥 If you've never been hacked on Facebook, let me assure you, it is a NIGHTMARE! 💥

I was hacked Saturday night, and I had been trying relentlessly to reclaim my account since then with no success. I had almost given up and reluctantly was about to create a new account. I've had my Facebook account for over 15 years. Plus, both of my business pages are attached to it. Not to mention, I have a strong Marketplace profile as well. I DID NOT want to start all over from scratch.

Thankfully, I was finally able to reclaim it this morning. Praise God!!! 🙏🏻

If you saw a post about cryptocurrency the other day, it was NOT from me and has since been taken down. I would never make a post about that!

Take it from me, update your password, turn on two factor authentication, update security and privacy settings. Do whatever you have to do to protect yourself!

I was invited to be a part of the Arlington Museum of Art's annual "Eat Your Art Out", a charity event that raises funds for at-risk and highly talented youth to attend their Summer Art Camp.

I created a masterpiece that represents my life as a mompreneur; making cakes and selling real estate, all the while managing family life and a household.

I created a vintage looking wedding cake with tons of buttercream piping detail, reminiscent of the wedding cakes I drew as a little girl. This was my first time making a wedding cake like this, and I absolutely love how it turned out.

As for the story on top, I had to make a few design alterations to my original plan, but overall, I am pleased with how it all came together.

This couple wanted each table to have their own little wedding cake. I love this idea!

Each cake was 3 layers, so 16 cakes x 3 = 48 individual cakes baked. That's a lot of cake and buttercream!

Also, a huge shoutout to my assistant/son-in-law, for delivering, setting up, and photographing these beautiful cakes so I could be in California visiting my two Marine sons, one of which was returning from deployment.
