Sunday Service 2025-03-30 "On a Journey, Alone, Together"
"On a Journey, Alone, Together" Join Rev. Amanda on this final Sunday before her four-month sabbatical to explore the idea of the journeys we take alone...so that we can find each other, and perhaps ourselves. We will explore the religious concept of pilgrimage through story and song in this celebratory, multigenerational service.
We are so excited to invite you to join us on April 25th for a Trivia Night Fundraiser with Camp Sarraka! Check out this video to learn more about their nonprofit, 1st Rd South and the magic that awaits you at their first BIG fundraiser, all in partnership with UUCA! We can't wait to see everyone supporting this mission together while having fun and connecting with the community. Any guesses about the special theme (to be announced later...)?

Sunday Service 2025-03-09 "Trusting in Each Other"
We find ourselves in a moment of deep uncertainty--and we know that our community is more important than ever, both for the people who meet within our sanctuary and for the sanctuary we create in the larger world. How can we ensure not just that the church will survive, but that it will support our survival? Join us to recommit to the institutions of community care at a time when we cannot live without it.
Sunday Service 2025-02-09 "Omissions: Who is Missing from the American Story? How can we include them?"
Rev. Carol Thomas Cissel, Preaching: Like many other things…history isn’t always captured correctly. African American history is often ignored and marginalized as other communities interpret history from their viewpoints. There is a definite need for a more inclusive and accurate portrayal of history. Instead of perpetuating racist stereotypes and condoning misunderstanding of the past, let's change the shape of the future by adding Black and BIPOC voices and stories to our history. Please come ready to share a story about an individual or event usually left out of American history books.
Sunday Service 2025-02-02 "A Hero of Our Time: Pauli Murray"
As we begin our celebration of Black History Month--and as we prepare ourselves for the months and years ahead--come and learn about the life of a remarkable person whose blending of law, religion, and justice moved forward rights and protections. The Rev. Pauli Murray used her brilliance in the legal field, her faith, and her own border-crossing life to bend the arc of justice. How might we be called to use our lives to draw the circle of inclusion ever wider?
Sunday Service 2025-01-26 "Belonging, Becoming, Beyond: How We Come of Age into Our Own Story"
"Belonging, Becoming, Beyond: How We Come of Age into Our Own Story" Join Rev. Amanda and members of UUCA's Coming of Age class to explore how our experiences, identities, and communities shape our sense of the world...and of our story in the world. How did your story evolve, and how is it continuing to evolve? Come explore our continual coming of age together.
Join Rev. Rob at Seminary for a Day to continue this discussion and hear more about the Theology of Reproductive Justice through a lens of progressive values.
