Pictures of our DIY buckets of flowers used at a baby shower in West, TX a few weeks ago. This was a last minute order, so I threw on my knee high Bogs and got to foraging.

We provided ranunculus, glossy privet, foraged wild carrot, foraged bastard cabbage, foraged annual gaura, and foraged grass seed heads (brome, wild wheat, rye). The customer also bought a few other blooms from a local grocery store. They tucked our flowers in everywhere in such a beautiful way.

These are locally grown ranunculus from our micro-farm in Arlington. Each bouquet comes with 12-15 stems in a mix of colors (growers choice - see photos). Bouquets we buy at the grocery store are typically sprayed as they are imported into the US. These have been grown free of pesticides and chemicals, so you can be sure they are safe around your family.

Ranunculus bouquets typically can be purchased online or from a local florist for $50-$75 but I’m selling them for $20 (Pickup in Arlington) or arrangements can be made for delivery within a 20 mile radius of Arlington for $23. They are great flowers that age well in the vase. Many of my customers get 7-10 days of vase life from this gorgeous flower.

😒 Reading up on daffodil bud blast. With the high temperatures this past week, some of my daffodils that had budded up didn't bloom. My cousin experienced the same thing last year in April with her peonies.

Ranunculus age so gracefully. This is the same flower over a week later. I did not use floral food in the water as to test it's longevity. Yes, it has lost some back petals but still beautiful.
