I just purchased this cool vintage bench for photos. It used to be a rolling library ladder. I think it will be great for so many poses. There are stairs on both sides.

Think sitting on the bottom rung, and leaning with your arm draped over the top. Sitting on the top with your feet staggered down the stairs. Sitting next to it with your arms on the steps. The possibilities are endless…

How cute for siblings too?

June is the PERFECT time for your portrait session. It’s not too hot and humid. Everything is green and pretty. You won’t have uneven tan lines and you usually have a little break in your sports schedule.

Did you know that we offer children’s birthday parties at our studio?

Perfect for 4-10 guests and children ages 5-18. Especially nice for those winter birthdays! Trust me, I know.

We photograph the birthday kid in a mini session, then all of the children together, and finally a couple of each attendant. We also photograph the present opening.

Collections begin at $425. You have the use of our studio for 2 hours, you can bring in your own decorations, food, and cake or there is a pizza place conveniently next door to our studio, and the best part the images will be included and available in a downloadable gallery.

No cleaning your house or worrying about parking, no clean up after the party, professional portraits, and a fun interesting different party.

Go Blue! It was so fun to have this family in Maze and Blue. My sons have always been Michigan fans, however it seems that everyone else in town including all of their friends were Spartan fans. U of M had a few rough years during their childhood and they heard a lot of smack talking. It's exciting to see them doing so well now. So from my family to yours, Hail yes! GO BLUE! and We wish you a Merry Christmas.

Look at all of those handsome boys. They were so well behaved... Dad tried to rile them up. It might have made for the cute pic for the naughty list, but mom wanted all nice photos. With these cuties, I don't blame her. She should be proud to show them off! Have a Happy Xmas (my favorite holiday song by John Lennon) and a Happy New Year!

I've photographed this family a few years ago. The kids are getting so big! I love seeing families year after year. I enjoy hearing what new hobbies they have discovered, or how they're doing in school, what's the latest TV shows they're into... Wishing you a Merry and Bright holiday season together.

This cute family came into the studio for a quick mini session. I mean how adorable are they? They are the sweetest girls. Lennon and Macalah have been friends for many years. Macalah's grandparent's yard and ours share a fence line. During COVID, the girls would pull up a chair and visit at the fence like 2 little old neighbor ladies gossiping, pretending, and playing. It was the most adorable thing. They still do that, but now they go into each other's yards to play too.

I have 2 sisters and no brothers. Growing up with sisters is like having your biggest cheerleader and closest enemy rolled into the same person living in your house. No one will fight WITH you or FOR you harder in your life. They do prepare you for the big bad world and then they become your BFFs.

Enjoy this holiday season together!

Gianna is a smart, sweet, talented, gorgeous young lady. She is a beautiful dancer. (We'll have a seperate dance post later. WOW!! She is special.)

In September on the autumn harvest moon, my friend was married. Their wedding was intimate, gorgeous, perfect weather, and so them. From the incense and crystals, to the delicious food, stunning flowers, impromptu serenades, homemade lemoncello as favors for guests, and the first dance under the autumn harvest moon.... just everything about the whole day was exactly their personalities. Tara and Tom, I wish you every happiness. Love to you both!
