📸 When the conference photographer says he needs a model to check the lighting for his pics, of course I said yes! I mean, what’s the worst that can happen? The pic is bad, and I delete it. No biggie! 😁

Last night Howey Event Consulting participated in the annual Annapolis Rotaract Club Putt Putt Classic, which raises money for their scholarship program to help students further their education. While we were ready to swing into victory, sadly my team didn’t win best score or best costume. But we should have gotten a prize for most fun had! Fore!! ⛳️

Last month I had the opportunity to work with one of my besties for the day. Cynthia Jurkovic with Flower Follies is such an amazingly talented florist, and it’s always a thrill for me to see her work up close and personal. She puts her heart and soul into every event, and the finished product never ceases to amaze. And you’ll be happy to know she’s as beautiful of a person as her designs are beautiful! 💕🌸

🥳 Birthdays just keep coming even though it feels like yesterday I had my last one. How does that happen?!

But thank goodness they do! It’s more time to be excited, grateful and humbled by this amazing life. I’m blessed with the best friends and family and work that I love. Sure, there are tough moments. But the good always outweighs the bad, and I’m here for all of them! So keep the birthdays coming, and here’s to this year’s trip around the sun! ☀️ 🎂 ✨ 🎉

A special shout out to Creative Cuisine. Their food tasted as delicious as it was beautifully displayed! 😋 And the flowers from Sweet Annie’s Flower Truck - Wow, just lovely! 😍

Well, hello there! It's been a while, so I thought I would pop in and say hi. How's your summer going? Mine is great!

As usual with summer for me, there are no events that I'm involved with happening during these months. It's tough to plan a corporate event in the summer - dealing with kids out of school, vacation schedules and people being distracted with their summer fun! So I use this time to plan, plan, plan for future events.

And of course, it's easy for me to get distracted with fun summer plans too - paddle boarding, roller coaster riding, parasailing, lake swimming, pool and beach sitting, baseball game cheering, ice cream eating...... I've been having all the summer feels!

My tribe of 3 has also had its share of summer sickness, but thankfully we're back in the land of the healthy and enjoying all that summer has to offer again!

I hope you and yours are enjoying a wonderful summer and that you're finding time to slow down and enjoy the sunshine with ones that you love!

Isn’t this the best location for a reception? Fabulous greenery, a cool mural, fun seating opportunities, and just a great vibe. You’d have to try really hard to not have fun at that event!

I spent a whirlwind 26 hours in New York City this week as the event planner for SIIA’s 70th annual Jesse H. Neal Awards.

The Neal Awards are the most prestigious awards for business journalism and content creation.

We returned to Current at Pier 59, and I just can’t say enough about this venue. From the floor to ceiling windows with views of the Hudson River to the delicious food and the impeccable service, this is a top notch location for any event!

Thanks SIIA for another great partnership! 🥂

I’m thrilled to be the Co-Chair of such a wonderful event! I’m in awe of the generosity of the supporters and am grateful to have made an impact on this deserving and amazing organization! I’m excited to continue to watch the good works Charting Careers provides for our local youth.
