Low maintenance landscaping was the goal. Less grass to cut the better! Need to pick up another load of river rock to finish. Just need a little rain to get the dust off.

Hopefully one day next week we can get our building inspection. We just need to get a fresh air vent installed on the kitchen hvac system. Then we can move on from the rough in stage.

Tomorrow the kitchen floor gets installed. They started on the cove base and leveled some low spots today. Soon it will start to look like a commercial kitchen.

We had some concrete poured around our grease interceptor. Adding an extra parking space and asphalt curb on Tuesday.

New electrical panel gets installed today. Still in the rough in stage. Plumbing rough in is done. Hvac and electric rough in’s aren’t far behind.

Grease interceptor is ready to get covered up by asphalt or concrete. With all the rain we had some low spots around the building. Just waiting on our bge service upgrade to finish grading and do some landscaping.

Hopefully we can keep moving along and be open by the summer.

Bollards are set around the grease interceptor. Electricians are here wiring lights and outlets. Plumbers will start roughing in water and drain lines later this week.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE? It's ideal, if you can! Sign up at https://tickets.whereinannapolis.com/. We'll also have day-of walk-up registration on Sat from 10 to 11:30 am, outside Long and Foster.

DO I NEED TO RUN? Heck no! You can run, you can walk, you can jog, you can amble—whatever works for you!

I CAN'T DO THE RUN. CAN I STILL COME TO THE AFTER PARTY? Heck yeah! The Celebration of Athletic Prowess is open to anyone, from 12:30-3 pm, outside at O'Learys Seafood Restaurant. We'll have live music from All You Need Band, and you can buy beer from Annapolis Beer Company, eats from Truck Of Deliciousness and libations from O'Learys. There's no entrance fee, but we'll be checking IDs for anyone drinking adult beverages.

HOW DO I WIN ONE OF THOSE RAD HOMEMADE TROPHIES? They'll be awarded at the after party! Categories are:

Moving forward with a few things this week. All the ground work trenching has been patched. We passed our grease interceptor inspection on Tuesday. Just need to pick up some bollards to protect the grease interceptor.

On Friday we have another plumbing inspection for our grease interceptor. If we pass we can backfill and keep on chugging along. A late spring opening might be possible.

Our siding is all done. On Monday our grease interceptor gets set in the ground. Hopefully we can keep passing our inspections and be open without any more delays.

Look at that we have our floor back. Passed our plumbing rough in yesterday. Back filling the dirt today. The grease interceptor goes in the ground Friday or Monday.

Moving along with our carry out. Plumbing rough in is scheduled for this afternoon. Hood and exhaust fans were installed last week. Now the rest of the siding can get finished.
