Meet the board! First up we have Dahlia Ridenhour who’s a senior. Shes our secretary and it’s her second year on the team. She hosted our last show Major Laugh Warning. We asked her some questions enjoy her answers.

1. What do you enjoy most about being a grin and bare it member?

“I like that every Wednesday I don’t have any expectations and I can just exist. I get to laugh with my friends, be silly, and learn a lot.

2. What was your favorite part about the show you hosted?

“My favorite part was getting to participate with the audience, especially our volunteers.”

3. What do you do outside of improv?

“Photography, theatre, listening to music, climbing trees, and probably more theatre.”

4. What is your favorite game?

“Blind line of corse”

Our first improv team spotlight is Dylan Long!!! He’s a senior and this is his second year on the team. His show was comedy in blues. How jazzy. We asked him some questions enjoy the responses! 1). What was your favorite moment that happened during your show that you hosted? “My favorite moment was when kaveh was a pirate golf ball retriever”
2). What do you do outside of improv? “I spend time with friends, rehearse in theatre, and play guitar”
3). What is your favorite thing about being in improv?
“My favorite thing about being in improv is learning how to think on my feet”
4). Can you give us any advice for newer people on the team or people looking to audition in the future?
“My best tip is always listen to what you[r] team members are saying in a scene”

We love having you on the team Dylan and we are so sad you are leaving us this year, but can’t wait to see where you will end up and how improv will help you get there!

First Improv Show of the season was last night and it was fantastic. Even with all the other events on campus we had an amazing audience and a really smooth jazzy night. Congrats to senior Dylan Long for hosting and doing us proud. Thank you to everyone who came out to support.
