Close your eyes for a moment and imagine a butterfly. My money says the fluttering insect you’re envisioning has black-veined, reddish-orange wings outlined with white specks — the iconic attributes of our beloved, American, monarch butterfly.

Beezy Farm is open again. We have bouquets of madame butterfly red, Potomac ivory and legend light pick snapdragons, Diablo ninebark, yarrow & Black-eyed Susan. I will be here until 11 this morning. These yellow columbines are happy! Be like a columbine, soak up the sun, chill and do it again tomorrow. June is National Pollinator Month!! Plant these hardy navies to support our local pollinator friends! They are responsible for bringing us 1 of every 3 bites of food. We need them to survive.

The wind calmed down so we got outside to start the clean up of the Pollinator Garden of the Hills at Standley Lake park! It’s adjacent to the farm and we’ve help take care of it for four years.

Baby flowers are coming along nicely! 85% or more has made it passed germination. 🤩🤩🤩 2400 and counting.

Don’t give up keep going and growing little babies

We started our seeds! Foxglove & lisianthus, close to 1k seeds! 🌱🌱Both have a super long growing period hence got to start early. We did this by hand and it feels super good to get my hands in soil.
