We are shifting Carnival season into overdrive this week at the R Bar. Were there this Monday. Next Monday AND THIS Sunday.. a very special one with our Light of Day friends Sunday evening at 9pm. We’re opening it up to jam with some of our favorite Asbury peeps and visitors! Gona have some FUN! Here are the deets:

Happy 2025 Carnival season. It’s now legal to eat King Cake in many parts of the nation. We’re bringing that Mardi Gras music energy to R Bar Mondays starting tonight (Twelfth night) 2 sets 6-9pm feat. the Stompers House Band. We’ve been busyyy with some engagement’s (!!!) and working to get back to everybody who reached out during a very busy holiday - but feel free to reach out again. We still have some availability for 2025 - Mardi Gras parties, festivals, weddings with the brass band, house wedding band or DJ hybrid, parades, book a music series at your spot, recommend us to your favorite spot for live music - word of mouth is everything to us. You can help us connect by sending an email to [email protected]! You can also help us in 2025 without hiring us for a gig by leaving us a review! Send us a dm and we’ll forward you a link! R Bar Mondays continue tonight in Asbury Park. Sets at 6 and 7:45pm. Make a dinner reservation at itsrbar.com! Stompers Holiday Special next Monday 12/23 and Charlie Brown Christmas shows continue Tuesday and Wednesday this week with Neal Pawley from the Asbury Jukes on trombone. Early and late shows are pretty much fully booked but last minute dinner rez cancellations have been happening - contact R Bar via 732-776-7463 to be first to know about open tables.

Our monthly residency at Triumph Brewing Company starts tonight Red Bank! NOLA funk and brass meets the Jersey Shore. Not your typical “jazz” band.
No cover 8-11:30 feat. Stompers horns Robin Clabby on sax and vocals, from New Orleans, band leader Ian Gray on trombone and vocals. Also featuring local favorite Ryan Gregg on keys and vocals, James McCaffrey on guitar, Declan O’Connell on bass and vocals and Charlie Patierno on drums. See ya there?
