Mama Africa was truly beautiful! From the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania to the vibrant culture and music, every moment was unforgettable. The women were radiant, and the Massai people’s traditions and way of life were awe-inspiring. The food was an adventure in itself—rich and full of flavor. I can’t wait to return and explore even more of this incredible continent.

I love capturing beautiful smiles. I remember Dea’s mom mentioning how she felt that Black people had the best smiles. And honestly, I agree with her. Every time I attend an event, I always gravitate towards the people who are smiling. They’re already having a good time, laughing, enjoying the moment. They’re pleasant, and I’m attracted to them. They’re more approachable.

This photo is from a tea party my good friend Demeisha hosted over the summer. It was a really cute event—very classy and elegant. Adult tea parties are becoming so popular, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and put an elegant twist on the typical cookouts. People want to experience a little bit of the Regency Era for themselves, and tea parties are the closest thing they can get without taking a flight to England.

It’s all about the elegance and beauty of little cakes and scones. And who can resist those tiny, delicate sandwiches? I love seeing the beautiful women in their Sunday best and gorgeous hats. It’s important to take pictures and cherish these beautiful moments. The beautiful woman in the middle with the bright smile recently passed away. I’m so happy and honored that I had a chance to capture her beautiful smile, and now her family has the photo to cherish forever.

Working with , one of my favorite models and collaborators, is always a joy. Kam is such a sweet young woman with an amazing personality. Her energy and excitement bring so much life to everything we do together. Her smiles and jokes make the entire experience worth it. 🌟

Despite her early morning workouts, I made the effort to wake up at 5am to work with her. Even though I was extremely tired from my demanding job, photography, videography, and editing, Kam’s playful spirit and determination kept me going. Her drive to get the best out of me is truly inspiring. I love that my clients hold me accountable and see the greatness in me, just as I see the beauty in them.

Kam is a fighter, constantly hurdling through obstacles with grace and resilience. I admire that about her. Great vibes as usual! 🙌

I’m truly addicted to people with great smiles. It makes capturing moments so effortless. Smiles can convey so many different emotions. Some smile when they’re nervous or afraid, others when they’re reminiscing about someone special or a beautiful moment from the past. Maybe they’re smiling at the handsome man with an even bigger smile on the other side of the lens. Regardless of the reason, I’m all over it. When I see you at an event, there’s no hesitation. The moment we lock eyes, I’m already halfway there, camera in hand. You have no choice but to smile.

Don’t worry, you look amazing. I wouldn’t approach if you didn’t. Yes, your hair is perfect. That outfit looks fantastic on you. And yes, I promise to catch you at the right angle.

I’ll never forget the time I found out the beautiful Demeisha was pregnant with her daughter. She was bringing a beautiful bundle of joy into this world, and we were all so excited. She had originally booked me for her Sunday Brunch Tea Party, which was absolutely dope. The decor was beautiful, very classy and elegant, perfectly matching her personality.

I’ve been shooting Demeisha’s events for the past 10 years, and every time, she’s always the life of the party. Her voice is comforting, her smile is contagious, and whenever she walks into a room, the party can officially begin. Whether she’s dancing, telling jokes, laughing, or being an amazing host, her presence is always needed. She’s always the first one to jump in front of my camera.

Earlier this week, I found out that a very special woman from that party has passed away. I feel honored to have met her and capture that beautiful smile of hers. Some of my favorite moments in life have been at Demeisha’s incredible events.

I had the pleasure of being hired to capture moments at a recent Sweet 16 event, and this photo is one of my favorites from the night. Seeing strong Black father figures in young boys’ lives is truly heartwarming. The joy on this little boy’s face brought so much happiness to me. It was comforting to witness the family’s affection and love.

I watched from afar, noticing their playful interactions, and waited for the perfect candid moment. I absolutely love shooting families in candid moments when they least expect it, bringing out their true personalities.
