Get your porróns ready! Join us on Thursday, July 25th at La Bodega by Cúrate from 4pm-6pm for the grand debut of our bottled Cúrate Spanish-Style Cider, made in collaboration with @botanistandbarrel .
For one night only, you can enjoy this limited release by the glass with a special pinxto pairing from our Spanish inspired kitchen. Following the event, the cider will only be available for purchase by the bottle, both in the dining room and for takeaway from our marketplace.
Cúrate Cider is infused with crab and heirloom apples grown in the storied orchards of North Carolina and Virginia, then finished in Cognac & Chardonnay barrels before bottling. This small-batch of our signature cider undergoes its final natural fermentation in the bottle using a process similar to vinting champagne. The result is a dry, refreshing, and lightly effervescent Spanish-style cider with very little residual sugar, perfect for sipping while nibbling charcuterie on a hot summer day.
We will be pairing our Cúrate Spanish-Style Cider with a special Fried Gordal Olive pinxto, stuffed with salty boquerones, marinated onions and citrus zest, then crusted with savory potato chips - a zesty compliment to the cider's light acidity.
