This week we’re embracing the fall flavors!
Honey mustard glazed pork loin with locally grown candy roaster squash and potatoes topped with
candied jalapeños, and green beans.

Sub out the pork for Field Roast Vegan sausage for a vegetarian option.

Add on a local kale salad with shaved carrots, feta, pepitas, red cabbage
and a lemon tahini vinaigrette!

This week we’ve got a delicious end of summer frittata featuring heirloom tomatoes, fresh herbs, mushrooms, spinach, thick cut bacon and sharp white cheddar cheese!

Add on a classic Caesar Salad with brown butter sourdough croutons!
Leave out the bacon for a simple vegetarian meal.

with a side of fresh tzatziki are the perfect compliment to this herby chicken.

We hope you all have a wonderful and restful Labor day weekend! Let Mountain Thyme help you relax by planning one of your meals for the following week!

This week we’re stuffing bell peppers with ground turkey, rice, black beans, tomatoes and topping them off with crumbly queso fresco. Paired with steamed green beans and buttered corn, this is a crowd pleasing, easy weeknight meal.

Swap out the turkey and rice for quinoa for a vegetarian option that still provides plentiful protein.

Add a chopped salad made of cabbage, romaine, cherry tomatoes, crunchy tortilla strips, and our housemade spicy ranch for the complete meal!

Fall is quickly approaching, but there are still plenty of late summer veggies available!

This week we’re utilizing our local farmers and their garden bounty.
We’ve got grilled skirt steak from hickory nut gap farms, couscous, roasted sweet peppers from wondercreek farm, and summer squash.

We can easily replace the steak for marinated grilled portobello mushrooms for a vegetarian option as well.

Add a mediterranean salad full of cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and feta drizzled with an herby vinaigrette!

This week we’re utilizing our local farmers and their garden bounty.
Fresh basil pesto made with bunches of basil from Haw Creek Commons Community Garden
and Wondercreek Farm is blended with blistered cherry tomatoes, pine nuts,
and Parmesan and chicken meatballs for a delicious creamy summer pasta.
