Originally built as a private home, the elegance of the 1920's is translated with luxurious wrought iron chandeliers casting graceful lighting. Conveniently located less than one mile north of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers plenty of free, designated parking and beautiful grounds in a neighborhood setting, Homewood is an excellent location for gatherings large or small. The Great Room seats just over 100 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for a dance floor and band or DJ. Homewood has been refined with modern amenities such as a handicap-accessible restroom and elevator. The grounds surrounding Homewood provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site and a large lawn where tented events can be held. For business events, Homewood offers a variety of seating options and can accommodate up to 150 people theater-style in the Great Room.
