While the shop remains closed, we have a few Springy, Easter inspired plants, plantings and containers we put together for the wonderful event hosted by last weekend. Several orchids, including two ladyslippers in bud, bulb vases, ceramic bird and bunny vases and more! Excited to be a part of this fun, local event hosted by and next Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm!

We’ll be there with some of one favorite pieces potted up with plants for Spring as well as select gift items. We will be selling alongside several wonderful local vendors and artists and we can’t wait everyone 💗

We also can’t wait to hear Flower Magazine editor, and interior designer and author who will be there to speak on design, creating beauty and The Joy of Home.

Hi everyone! It has been a long time since I’ve posted any updates on here but truthfully, I was not yet sure what those updates were. I have been using these past quiet few months to be very still in order to make a thoughtful decision about the best path forward for myself and for the shop.

I am SO thrilled to say that we are officially reopening and I could not be more excited to see our little cottage come back to life. I have the best team in place that one could ask for, who will allow certain avenues of the shop to expand and who are so eager and excited to get back to work.

I will keep this short for now but am so happy to finally be able to share our plans with you all, now that I finally have them. We will be sure to post updates along the way with some new ideas we’ve come up with, sneak peeks of new finds for the shop and of course, the progress of the building~ which as of now is expected to be ready by mid Spring to early Summer.

Thank you all once again so much for your support these past months and for checking in with me. Your care and concern has helped more than you know and I cannot wait for the day we get to (RE)open our doors and see your faces❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has inquired about any pop ups we might do in the courtyard this season. Due to the increased construction at the shop this past week, I don’t think it would be a good idea to hold any kind of event on site, even if small. I appreciate everyone’s interest, however, and as always your support❤️

We do however have several potted amaryllis and paperwhites left, along with bulb vases and a few seasonal arrangements. I will be at the shop (parking lot) tomorrow from 12-2:00 to meet customers who had reached out and placed orders. Posted here (and in stories asap) are pictures of available pieces that we would have been selling at the pop up. The bulb vases are available empty as well or with amaryllis instead of paperwhites. If you see anything you like for the holidays or would like to send to someone, let me know and I will happily bring along with me tomorrow or arrange a time to meet or deliver if the time frame doesn’t work. Just send me a screenshot of the one you’d like or want information on and I’ll message you back. Thanks so much, everyone!

If you know Sunday Grant, you already know how wonderful she is, so it will come as no surprise that when she heard we were going to try and pull off a Holiday Open House this year, she generously offered to donate her time and photography skills to support the event. This is just a snippet of the many beautiful pictures that she took for us and I can’t thank her enough for capturing so many memories of a very special day. More to come, including a list (and now, pictures!) of each vendor who attended, as well as the many wonderful people who pitched in to help make this event extra special and Merry and Bright💫

Thank you for making this the most special and meaningful Holiday Open House of all❤️

I can’t begin to express how wonderful it was to get to see all of your faces and hug your necks for the first time in a long time. I am blown away by the love and support all of you have given us and our community, not just on Saturday but everyday since Helene, from near and far. We are truly thankful for the chance to get to share a bit of cheer and “normalcy” with all of you in the midst of such an unusual holiday season.

I am so thankful to the incredible help of my team, my family and friends and the encouragement from all of you for making it such a memorable day ❤️ So many people pitched in to help and made it come together-and that warrants a separate post, which I will post and elaborate soon. I will also be posting a list of each vendor who attended in the next few days, as many of you have graciously asked how to continue supporting them.

For now, I just simply want to say thank you for filling us up with so much love and encouragement and we wish you all the merriest holiday season❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️

We are beyond excited to welcome our amazing vendors and all of you to our 27th annual Holiday Open House in the courtyard of the shop today! This event feels extra special and meaningful after the past 6 weeks and we are more excited than ever for some holiday cheer🎄. To that end, I’m so thrilled to say that my good friend .jon.corbin and Hank and Lindsay from one of my favorite local bands, The John Henry’s, will be making spirits even brighter by playing Christmas tunes and more for us from 12-3:00! If you haven’t seen them play at be sure to put it at the top of your list!

We so look forward to seeing all of you and are grateful for the chance to have a chance to have a day to celebrate the spirit of the season with you and have channeled our inner elves to pack all the Merry we possibly can into 4 hours🎄 We hope it gives a big dose of holiday cheer to everyone….i know it will for

One week from today, we will be holding a courtyard version of our annual Holiday Open House that will feature twenty wonderful artists and vendors, many of whom lost their spaces or storefronts to sell their work due to Helene and some of whom had been preparing for the original event for months. 100% of sales will go to each vendor and we are so excited to still be able to welcome them and all of YOU to what we bound and determined to make extra special and festive this
year🎄❤️🎄.

Here is what to expect at this Holiday Market:
🎄Christmas wreaths and greenery
🎄Original Artwork
🎄Handmade pottery
🎄Baked goods and specialty Food items
🎄Clothing and jewelry
🎄Paper goods and Paper Art
🎄Locally made children’s book signed by author
🎄Handmade Ornaments

In addition to what the vendors are selling, we will also be selling our beautiful amaryllis and paperwhite bulbs, seasonal plantings and select holiday decor items and gifts🎄🎄

It wouldn’t be a Holiday Open House without my sweet mom, who will be bringing her delicious homemade goodies-including crowd favorites like her almond bark and pound cake. She has even made a 4th edition “cooklet” that we are already taking orders for and are happy to ship! They are $20 each. Please message me here if interested.

It’s wild to think that we would typically be hurriedly getting ready our traditional Holiday Open House tomorrow. Although we are unable to do that this year, we are beyond excited to hold a courtyard version of our open house by holding a Holiday Market, Saturday, November 16th from 12-4:00pm. This event will be featuring twenty wonderful vendors, many of whom lost their spaces to sell their work, some of whom even their studios, and ALL of whom make or sell wonderful things that will bring us all some much needed holiday
cheer🎄. Of course, we will also be decking the “halls” of the courtyard as much as we possibly can and providing potted amaryllis and bulb arrangements that you can enjoy all season long. My sweet mom, pictured above, is even making her traditional treats and has made an extra special cooklet this year that I am extra excited to see and will be posting about soon. We will have festive music, hot apple cider, holiday decor items, gifts and more. Please be on the lookout for more updates to come! We’ll be posting about the vendors participating and as many details as we can in the next few weeks via social media and our newsletter. It might be a snippet of a holiday season this year, but it is our favorite time of year so we intend to make it count!
