Hi everyone, I’ve been working hard to share this info with you guys. I hope it resonates with you!
I’ve gotten messages from sweet clients and many others asking what they can do, what’s acceptable, and how they can make a difference in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The truth is, this is a tough time, but we’re doing our best to help out the community in any way possible from feeding them to donating new winter clothes. If you know me, I think feeding people is my love language 🥰☺️
I’m thankful to say that me and mine are okay, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. But many others are not as fortunate.
Here’s some small yet so powerful things that will help WNC:
🛍️Shop local and online – This is new territory for many WNC businesses, but it’s how we keep them afloat. Be patient with shipping and any unexpected delays. Your support means everything to them right now.
📍Tourism is our lifeline – As a travel concierge business owner, I’ve lost thousands due to Hurricane Helene, but to those who are sticking with their 2025 bookings: you rock. Tourism keeps Asheville’s economy going, and by then, many places will have recovered because we have no choice but to keep moving forward.
📲Keep sharing – Share our stories, share this post, and share that GoFundMe. Unfortunately, media coverage of Hurricane Helene will fade, and locals already feel that it has. That’s why it’s so important for us to keep sharing and keep this conversation alive.
I’ve put together a LinkTree in my bio with trusted donation links and GoFundMe pages that truly need our help. If you know of any other reliable organizations or campaigns, please DM me, and I’ll add them.
I love you, WNC 💛🧡🩷
