Before the Month of October passes, I wanted to post that October 5 was the 36th anniversary of BeLoved Ceremony (formerly Interfaith Ceremonies). Yes, October 5, 1989. It has been 36 years that I have so gratefully been officiating marriage, commitment, baby blessings, funerals, etc ceremonies. I have officiated thousands of marriages - and still counting. Yes...thousands. I will, one day, go through all my records and post a more accurate count, as I have kept the files for every wedding, etc that I had the pleasure of officiating.
Thank you all for the joy and the honor of choosing me to participate in your most special day.

It was an absolute delight - and of course, my honor - to work with Megan & Eli to create and officiate their marriage ceremony yesterday at their Air B&B in Asheville. I was most happy to incorporate their original material describing some of their experiences and adventures. I always encourage personalizing the ceremony to make it as authentic as possible.

I was so pleased to finally meet Sherry and Walter in person, and of course - honored to officiate their marriage ceremony yesterday in South Carolina. I love when cultural rituals are included in the ceremony, as when Walter broke the glass and all in attendance shouted Mazel Tov.

I had such a wonderful time officiating Kat & Joseph's 15th
Anniversary Renewal of Vows last Saturday. It was a surprise gift from Kat...and took place at the same location as their wedding. I loved seeing his surprise when the reason for our walk to Triple Falls was finally revealed.

Perfect weather in WNC smiled on Heather & Patrick's wedding day Saturday. I was honored to officiate their marriage ceremony and to witness the joining of not only two people, but the celebration of a family with their sons, James and Blake. It is always a delight to include children into the ceremony.
