VEIL RAFFLE FOR HELENE RELIEF
It’s my birthday this week, and all I want for my birthday this year is for y’all to support my fellow WNC and Southeastern community that has been devastated in every single way by Helene. Anyone who has ever met me knows how deeply I love animals. So, for my birthday this year, I am raffling off the stunning, colorful and unique veil in these photos. It normally retails for $650. All raffle proceeds will be donated to one of my favorite local organizations, . I have adopted several animals from them and have volunteered with them over the years 17+ years that’s I’ve called Asheville home. They have been such heroes in the face of the storm- evacuating their shelter and making sure every single animal was safe, getting out in the field as soon as the storm passed to begin the work of rescuing displaced animals, all while dealing with the aftermath and consequences of losing their physical shelter as well as all their transport vans to Helene.

It is with gratitude and trepidation that I am announcing that we are reopening for business on Tuesday, 10/8/2024. Thanks to the blood, sweat, tears, heroism, time, effort and love shown by all the emergency responders and crews since even before hit us, the major roads are passable, and Wildflower has power, water, internet and phone service.

I know it can feel trite to some (including me, at times) to think about shopping for a wedding gown in the midst of everything happening all around here, but ASHEVILLE AND ITS SMALL BUSINESSES NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR BUSINESS IN ORDER TO HELP REBUILD THIS BELOVED COMMUNITY. From now and into the indefinite future, 15% of all Wildflower proceeds will go to . That means when you shop with us you are contributing to the WNC economy twofold. If you are in town and safe and you have an upcoming appointment, please keep it if possible (rather than rescheduling). If you’ve wanted to make an appointment with us but then didn’t know what would happen once the storm hit, please tap on the link in our profile to submit your appointment request. If you’ve had an appointment with us and have since decided that one of the gowns we carry is your gown, please reach out to us to place your order. If you are still looking for accessories, please make an accessories appointment with us. Small businesses like need to be resuming operations if and when possible so that we can be contributing to the local economy as quickly as possible. It’s not just my livelihood that hangs in the balance over the foreseeable future, it is the WNC economy as a whole. Please continue to host your weddings in this beautiful and resilient area. Please hire as many local vendors as you can. We need you to keep believing in us and in this land and in this community.

Please know that outside of business hours over the coming weeks and months I will continue distributing non-potable water from my home to folks who still don’t have any. I’ll be doing laundry for those who don’t have power or water.
