Thanks to the amazing who not only came up with a genius work around for us to safely serve your favorite espresso drinks, but they also coordinated community sponsorship so our small local business would have an easier time opening back up. We will be forever grateful for our wonderful community 💕☕️💐 come see us Wed-Sun 11-5 for plants, flowers and COFFEE!

We are so thankful for our community and so happy to be able to be open again and able to welcome you all back to Flora and Forage! We’re here for a hug, a smile, a moment of respite.
We ARE serving espresso!! A million thanks to Randy and Marla at for hooking us up with a bypass pump so we can serve you a safe and tasty beverage. For the time being our temporary hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11-4, but we hope to expand these hours as we are able. Always open online for delivery orders! Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

We are okay. Our property has damage but we have faired better than so many. Our bridge, road and old dam house were destroyed by Helene. Loads of trees down thankfully with no significant damage to our home, barn and greenhouse. We are lucky and grateful. We are especially grateful to the folks in our little holler who have come together to support one another.

Mother Nature is demanding we listen. We have to do better. This storm is inspiring flora and our family to continue moving more and more towards sustainability. Towards making better choices that will serve our children and our children’s children better.

We will be bringing water from our well to our brick and mortar shop on the regular so if folks need to fill up jugs and such we will have some water available. We’ve been making bouquets free to take. If you know someone who is struggling and could use a little something to brighten up their day there might be a few available near our door.

Our plant of the week this week is the Paraíso Verde Philodendron! It is also known as “Marina Ruy Barbosa” and is a rare variety of Philodendron. While it has the ability to adapt to different humidity levels, it thrives in moderate to high humidity levels and prefers to stay slightly moist. It best grows in medium to bright indirect light or filtered sunlight, so an east facing window will help it thrive! This Sunday we are leading a seasonal wreath workshop at ! Before CoVId we taught many workshops and loved helping to bring botanical arts to our community. In this workshop we will go over multiple techniques, leaning into locally sourced and foraged elements.
