Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania for Swahili Coast. 3 of 3. Curiosity.
tying up this week of posts from Tanzania with this set today. starting, as always with gratitude. followed by my continuing love of the process. and now it’s a look forward with an ever deepening curiosity.
i have a curiosity for this world i hope to never completely satiate. thanks for inviting me in.
i love my job because of this. meeting so many of you during monumental moments in your lives and often following along - and even tagging along - to the next.
daily, I attempt to cultivate curiosity. even ( maybe especially ) about the things I think I already know. which within an ever changing, evolving, and often deconstructing industry and art form is not only advantageous but perhaps necessary.
unfreeze the ice of what you think you know and let the water flow.
so that’s what I have learned from my time on the road. this time. i am pledging to be less guarded. to allow curiosity, as it
often does, lead to understanding. which will serve to bring the world a little closer together. so here is a little more understanding for us all to admire. i mean, common - give it up for the outrageously beautiful
finally we have finished all my wandering thoughts, for now. whew! i know, i am relieved too. but really just enjoy some lovely pictures. may they spark a speck more curiosity in your world.
