📸 | the words just have not come easy. it has been 3 weeks since our town was shattered. we are all hanging in there and doing the best we can to take care of our ourselves, our families, our couples, and our communities. so many have lost so much, and there is no other word other than just devastation.

but here’s the thing about asheville. we are strong. we are resilient. we help each other. and while the road may be long, we will rebuild and we will be back stronger than ever 💕 keep sending the love and we can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!

oh how we love fall in the mountains 🍂 especially when it looks this good! (thank you !) and when it’s fall… here is the deal. it keeps tugging at me… we need to post! we have the most beautiful weddings and couples and love stories and fun design and details and amazing wedding teams around us. but just keeping it real, we are a small company y’all. we don’t hire out our social media. we don’t have 5 bajillion assistants running around. we are just us and doing what we love. and you put a full season with that, and all the energy goes into what is in front of us. all while trying to balance life. since fall began, in our office we have had loss of loved ones. surgeries. an engagement! a fire at a venue 30 minutes before event. hired on a friday to produce a carnival the next tuesday for an exclusive group. beautiful weddings. crisp fall nights. and the list goes on. you get it. so the reality is… we are here. we are thriving. and we can’t wait to share all the things. in november. and maybe after a nap. or a sleep-cation. happy fall friends! and to our wedding friends…. thank you 💕

no… not the most perfect social media pics. but hey, it’s real life. we thought it was time to show a few behind the scenes ;) first of all - everyone loves the glow sticks and handing them out to a fun dance floor is the best! and then when that’s done and everyone is partying… we try and grab a bite to eat ➡️ swipe to see that it is not at all glamorous and the only place with light is at the loading docks and with the racks of glasses. but man it felt good to sit down for a minute 🚚 and at 8:00 - there is a team checkin text to see how we are doing! yes… we have some of our own wedding day traditions. and this is one of them 🕗 and i love it. then… the coveted glass of wine at the end of the night. where we may or may not have begged for a glass as they were closing it down lol 🍷 cheers to another successful saturday!
