Hammered Dulcimer Solo, "I Wonder as I Wander" Lorraine Lordi...
I composed this version of "I Wonder as I Wander" one night after I went for a walk under the stars in Asheville, NC. I realized that when I walk at night, which is almost every night, I realize how grateful I am for each step and for my faith, but as you will hear in this song, I also wonder, "Are you out there, God? Do you hear me?" And so, this version does wander -- but it is my heart wondering and the strings of the dulcimer reflecting that wonder, which makes me want to share this with you. Please feel free to share with any others you love. Peace and joy, Lorraine

"All in a Garden Green" Hammered Dulcimer and Harp Duet
Thank you, Bob, for taking this video, the very first one of me and Donna Germano playing together -- and at the Biltmore Estate. ( I hope I posted it correctly! Technology and I do not compliment each other like a harp and a dulcimer.
Before the Mass started, Donna played a few songs. This is the second half of "Annie Laurie." Thank you, Donna, for making such beautiful music on your celtic harp.
There are lots of versions of "Over the Rainbow." This is the beginning of mine, in remembrance of Eva Cassidy, who sang it beyond what anyone else will ever do.
A pretty soft piece called "Whispers and Mist." I just played it with my friend, Donna Germano, an amazing harpist, for two weddings.
"Southwind" - a lovely Irish lilt.
Get your clogging shoes on for this one.
This is a 16th century minuet. The composer wanted the dulcimer to sound like a guitar. I also played it on the soft side of the hammers for a different effect. Enjoy!
Here a traditional fun Irish wedding song called "Marie's Wedding." Have fun!
And here are a few more! Enjoy. Simple Gifts.
