Set up from sample table to finished . This family and most of their guest came from Panama City and Tallahassee . They toured several venues but chose us even though it was a 2 hour drive. Most made a getaway weekend and stayed in Dothan all weekend. I don’t think anyone left disappointed. I did not get pictures of the fantastic breakfast buffet JoLynn Catering set up so if you did take me please. Thank you for being a respectful and fun group. The best man flew in from Las Vegas and was a hoot. Even had a guest from California. They did not like our pestie knats . Dance floor stayed full . Fun group welcome back anytime.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to J. Lewis Events and Ru Jule Events Venue LLC for the most beautifully decorated wedding venue! Ru Jule was absolutely stunning! Judy Lewis is the best of the best! She, Russell Lewis, and their team went above and beyond our greatest expectations… The Vickers Wedding on Saturday November 18, 2023 was absolutely perfect. The proof is in the photos! If you are in need of a professional makeup artist and hairstylist Kellee Alday is the one! She too exceeded our expectations. That proof is also in the photos. Speaking of photos, Tosha Merrifield Womble worked diligently to make us the most beautiful photos! She also went to whatever lengths it took to make each photo perfect. If she had to bribe the littles with candy to get that perfect photo… then that’s what she did! We had the best Wedding Day ever! We are grateful for each of these people working so hard to make this day a perfect day! Thanks to each of you!!!

Today’s wedding.

Not to offend but putting this out there. And not meaning to sound rude but just matter of fact.

No one out there will work harder for you or your family and guests than us.

But:

We only do weddings.

We only book 2 per month.

We do not book July or August.

Our capacity inside is 100. If you expect more do not book us ! We are set up for 110 inside so in case of not perfect weather please don’t ask if we can seat 125 for an inside ceremony. Our 125 includes the back porch and patio. Most importantly THIS INCLUDES WEDDING PARTY, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS and of course children . Heads add up quickly! Nor do I provide
childcare. Never have I implied we are kid friendly. We have stairs and lots of breakable things inside and outside . Kids are very welcome as long as they have constant supervision.

My price includes set up, director , decor in stock , dj for 4 hours , a quick rehearsal time ( NO DINNER) . I cannot give you an itemized breakdown because quite frankly we are worth much more than I charge . Ask any of my past couples.

We are in a residential area and music stops at 10 pm or 4 hours whichever comes first . We love our neighbors and want to keep it that way. 4 hours is plenty of time for a wedding reception. Any more than that turns into a party and nothing wrong with that, you will just have to party elsewhere . This is not a night club. Mitch Deese does play for the ceremony and we “give “ that to you along with his time to come to rehearsal, which is not required but to make sure the ceremony flows well he chooses to do this. I purchased my in DJ equipment along with Mitch and frankly after spending Friday night here and about 5 hours day of he is ready to pack up . Remember my team puts in about 12 hours day of !

Bridal suite is upstairs. Important to know for people like myself that don’t do stairs well . Grooms room is downstairs but only has 1 mirror. They usually know they look good all spiffed up so 1 mirror is enough . You MUST clean up both room’s before you leave.

First floor is handicap accessible with 2 concrete ramps off front porch. Back porch has about a 3 inch drop .

Guest sit on benches outside and no they cannot be moved. If a person has a valid reason for a chair of course one will be provided. And a cushion if need be .

Canned beer and wine ONLY. Champagne is allowed for toasting. We do caution not to allow your wedding party to start drinking a few hours before the ceremony or they could ,,,,, emotions, heat, anxiety all play a part in why we caution .

We do not put out your food, replenish your food , serve your food nor clean up your food. Buffet room MUST be left clean. Beer is put in tubs on back porch . If you are under 21 you will be drinking soda, tea or water . Not going to jail for you . Don’t even try .

Everything I have just typed we go over on tour, again at contract signing and again at rehearsal .

We do have other rules that you must sign off on but I will not bore you with those unless you tour and book .

We love working with our clients and work hard but we do have rules and requirements and responsibilities that all must follow.

EDIT: no date held without save the date fee paid. First to pay fee, sign contract gets the date. No dates held .

Number 1 rule , we do not set your food out, replenish or clean it up .
