May Strawberries!!! I’m cooking down some strawberries for a luscious jam and the lovely scent made me think of this cake I made not too many days ago for one of my favorite people. Between the strawberries and freesia the kitchen smelled heavenly that day!

The Bee Barn. One of two structures that existed on our 130 acre farm when we bought it almost 8 years ago. We call it the Bee Barn because friends kept bees here. They have since bought their own farm and expanded far beyond just bees. Hinchman Farms Beef, Eggs and more! We love this old barn. The wildflowers around it, the memories it holds for us and for the people before us. This farm is a special place. You can feel it the minute you drive in the gate. It’s days like this when we sit back and enjoy. We hope everyone that gets a chance to visit Ashland City Farms feels the same way!
