Happy THREE year anniversary to Carbone Studios!

Let us just tell you, we are so excited to still be around. When dreaming up this place, we had every doubt and fear that you could imagine. What if there isn’t a need for this type of space? What if it’s not what the creative community needs? What if it doesn’t live up to the expectations of a studio? What if, what if, what if …. I mean EVERYTHING.

Three years ago today, we opened the doors of our studio to the Richmond photography and creative community and never looked back. The amazing work that has come out of these walls is absolutely mind blowing. The creatives we have had the privilege of meeting and working with has been a dream. The community we have brought together is stronger than ever and we are SO grateful for each and every one of you who have supported the studio and this community as a whole along the way.

We’ve said it before and we whole heartedly mean it … this isn’t our studio. It’s Richmonds. Although our name is on the door, this is just as much our studio as it is yours. We just keep the parts moving, so to speak.

We are dedicated to always improving and adding value to the studio. Not just by offering seasonal sets or adding in new furniture, but by keeping the studio affordable so that those of all experience levels are able to have access to a professional studio to help grow their own skillsets as well as clientele. I mean, the amount of times we lost a client because we didn’t have a studio for their kids 1-year cake smash, or professional headshots, or bridal bo***ir is actually insane. Something needed to change. Having a studio to call home is a game changer when starting out or continuing a career in this industry. Something we definitely wish we had many years ago.

With all of that being said. Changes are coming.

Beginning Monday (3/4), our rental structure is changing up. We are now offering the option to rent out Studio A and B at the same time! The entire building to yourself. Both studios can be setup how ever you wish! Just make your selections for both studios when booking your rental and we’ll take care of the rest!

Second change - we are now opening up another room that will be strictly props and gear that you are welcome to use during your rental with us, at no additional cost. Not only will you have access to all our throw blankets and pillows but also cake smash supplies, light stands, backdrops, newborn photography supplies and much more! We’ll share more soon 🙂

We are so excited to continue sharing this space with you all! This journey has definitely been one for the books and we cant think of a better way to celebrate 3 years.
