LONG POST ALERT! :) First off, Cooper is 3! This little farmer is so fun and so busy! I love going out to Cooper's farm to play (and take photos of this sweet family;) A large "sneak peek", but since I haven't been posting lately, I figured I better share a bunch.

Also, I wanted to showcase how a typical family or kid session is. I love kids! And I love to capture your family having fun together. Honestly it will feel more like a play date than a photo session!

And finally, I have been cutting down on weddings and sports images (no more high school sports), and really focusing in on my specialty - kids, newborns and families. And my art and landscapes! This doesn't mean I'm not doing weddings anymore, just being a bit more selective with how many I take on in one season. And I am still photographing some of the younger sports teams and individuals, along with senior portrait sessions which I really enjoy as well. Thank you to all of my clients! I absolutely love what I do.

As many of you know, we had to say goodbye to our beloved doggie Lucy girl last week. She was our best girl, the sweetest soul, the truest friend and we love and miss her so much. Lucy was a part of our family for the past 11 and a half years. She was a rescue dog that we got when she was just a few months old. She has been an amazing companion, best big sister to our boys and the goodest good girl.
In her honor, I'm offering a discount on my pet portrait mini sessions for $60 and a portion of the session fee will be donated to the Chequamegon Humane Association for their amazing work. These mini sessions can be just your pet(s) or you with your pet(s). They can be done either outdoors or inside with a backdrop. I love all animals, so whatever pet you have I'm happy to photograph! I'm only offering the discounted rate through April 10th, but you can purchase your session now and schedule it for anytime through this fall.

Sharing just a few from this gorgeous one- Beautiful baby Araceli had lots of smiles for her (older) newborn session! This sweet girl was born at just 27 weeks and after spending multiple weeks in the NICU in Duluth, she is home and doing amazing with her mom and dad! Congrats again to her parents and thank you for having me do a session for your little warrior.
Side note, this was the last session in my old studio space! So excited to share my new space and post some more recent newborn sessions from there soon! I'll also be promoting my 15th (!!!) year in business with some amazing specials coming up:)

Handsome baby Frey and his sweet parents -
This amazing mama went through radiation and then surgery shortly after her little love arrived... I'm so happy to report she is home recovering and everyone is doing well! Thanks again Anika, Cole and Frey! Can't wait for your next session:)

Revisiting this fun September wedding at The Gathering Barn and posting extra black and whites just because they are lovely... Marjorie was a stunning bride and Walter calls her Pumpkin - these two are so in love and very sweet together. Makes my job easy!

Wow! It's been a minute since my last post. I've been busy busy with lots of newborn, kids and youth sports sessions and exciting things are happening for Artful Eye Photo Co (a new studio space in a beautiful place- more on this to come!) Social media typically falls in the last category of to dos for me... not really a fan, but also not wanting to not post, if that makes sense! So I'm starting it off again by revisiting some senior sessions from summer and fall, and also kid and family sessions! I will then share weddings from the crazy busy fall season and then some recent newborn sessions. Lots to share from clients who gave the ok to do so!
