It was a real push for us to start our season early, but it was such a privilege to host professors and faculty from Northland College last night. It felt important to provide a warm and welcoming space for them to join together in celebration, sorrow and lasting friendship. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. Teachers, mentors and professors (both those who overestimated us and those who underestimated us) have played an integral role in helping Al and I forge our paths towards useful, rewarding and ethical lives. And, in the end, isn't that what it's all about?

The combination of this grand tent from , all of the space inside our big, beautiful barn and our very large parking area allowed us to host one of our largest weddings ever. Three hundred guests had plenty of room to watch the ceremony, eat, dance and play. What a great day!!

The bunkhouse rehab is complete! We used almost all "found treasures" to create this funky, cool space ( including an old radiator that was too heavy for us to move so it became a night stand!). Right now for overflow fam and friends but with an eye toward volun-tourism, wedding couples or a place for sleepy bands to crash! I love how it turned out and it's our last major area of renovation. Whew!
