Dear Gentle Readers,

Thank you for your patience as I continue to balance life and work. If you drive by Storybook Hollow, you may not think it will be open this Fall but I assure you, it will!! Lots of plans and growth happening behind the scenes! So excited to bring you magic and memories once again. Please keep following for open dates and times, events and projects, and vendor calls. I'm considering doing a Christmas drive-thru. If you have any outdoor Christmas decorations, old trees, or lights that you would like to donate to Storybook Hollow, I would take them off your hands and be very much appreciative! I am also considering business sponsors to advertise on candy canes I will be handing out as well as coffee cup sponsors and sponsor signs that will be visible to cars driving through. Just want to make sure I'm able to do the Christmas thing before I announce it! 🎄🧑‍🎄🤶 Thank you!

Reminder!! 12-4 Sat & Sun this weekend, pumpkins and fall crafts are clearanced VERY LOW!! Regular park activities will be closed but you can still shop at SBH! These gourds will last through Thanskgiving! No entry fee. 9305 US Hwy 51, Ashley, IL.

Due to the rain chance, we will be open for shop and pumpkin sales only from 12-4 Saturday and Sunday. Halloween craft items will be discounted 50% as well as reduced fall items. All pumpkins will be discounted to $2!!! There is still alot of fall to be had so take advantage of these great sales while you can! NO ENTRY FEE!!

Again, regular park activities will be closed but the shop and pumpkin sales will be open. 🧡🎃 Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

There is an envelope that I keep in the safe that 10% of my profits go into. That 10% will go directly to help fight child trafficking. It is a cause I'm extremely passionate about. I know we are not the cheapest pumpkin patch around but a portion of every entry fee you pay, every pumpkin you buy, and every store item you purchase goes into this envelope with this very simple but loving symbol. At the end of the year, I will donate this to the charity I feel best accomplishes that goal. 🩷 I hope you will come to Storybook Hollow for fun but I also want you to know you are making positive changes at the same time. Thank you.

This weekend (Oct 7 & 8) is the ultimate sweata weatha kickoff to fall. Have you seen those temps?! Swoon! Saturday 10-6 we have storytime, games, crafts, the haunted barn, pumpkins, face painting with Fairytale Goth Mother and all your favorite SBH activities.

Sunday 12-6 we have all that and even more! We are featuring a new vendor with HOT COFFEES! And cold coffees, and ice cream, and need I say more? They are from right here in Ashley and will be joining us for our vendor fair next weekend also. Let's show them that we love coffee and support their local business this Sunday! Someone caught a mistake on my flyer! I completely missed it! I had double Sundays on there for the vendor fair. The festival and vendor fair begins on SAT 10-6 and continues on SUN 12-6. And then music is 1-5 on both days. This is the corrected flyer. 🙂

Just a reminder, the Lucky Leprechauns 4H Club that is bringing the petting zoo animals on Sunday from 12-3 is accepting tangible donations such as pet food, etc for the animal shelter. 🐕 🐈
