If you drive by SBH right now, it looks like you could get Jumanji'd into the yard, its a jungle. My mower is down and it has been very wet. I have someone coming to mow! Lol Have some Grace for me!! 🙏 On a separate note, I built a giant puppet theater in my home garage to have as a new feature with more fun things to come this year! Believe in the process, it will come together!

Hello friends!! People are always wanting me to have an Easter event and even though Easter is later this year, Southern Illinois winters and storms make that a tough plan to carry out. Lots of repairs and work has to be completed with not a lot of good days to complete them. I know you all are so sweet and understanding as I pass on Easter this year but I'm still hoping for some kind of late Spring, early Summer opening. I've got the gnomes here hard at work and lots of ideas still to come!! Blessings. 🧡🩷

Seeking opinions:

On actual Easter weekend, I'm considering having a flea market/craft fair at Storybook Hollow with Easter activities for kids as well.

I know there's a lot going on for Easter every year but not everyone has kids or participates in egg hunts but i would still want to incorporate Easter that weekend. If I had a "Market Days" type of event, would that interest you? Hit 👍 if interested. Thank you!

One of the greatest stories ever told is that of our majestic country, built upon the backs of hard-working Americans and fought for by brave men and women in the armed forces. Storybook Hollow thanks all veterans today and everyday for their selfless acts of valor. If we ever take for granted the peace, freedom, and opportunities America affords us, let it not be today. God bless our veterans, always and forever!! 🇺🇸❤️

FYI! Parking is available where the flagged entrance is. I know it's hard to see while driving. I need a big parking sign. Maybe next year!

Once again, it's a beautiful fall weekend! What a blessing! Storybook Hollow has tons of area for kiddos to run their energy out, fairy villages, pirate ship, mud pie kitchen, crafts, haunted barn, concessions, music...it's the last weekend of the season!! $5 per person, 2 and under free! 🍂🍂🍂

Reminder!! Petting zoo today with the Lucky Leprechauns 4-H Club and their show animals! We also have Whimsical Kaleidoscope for face art. We are open 12-4 today. Entry is $6 per person with $1 going towards the Jeff Co Animal Shelter. We are also taking physical donations of food, cleaning supplies, etc. Its going to be a gorgeous fall Sunday. Look at Saturday and Sunday's weather, ya'll. Your kiddos want to come to Storybook Hollow!

🤗 I'm so excited to welcome Jake back with his mandolin this Saturday, 10-5, along with storytelling, hot chocolate, discounted pumpkins, and many more memories to be made.

On Sunday, we are open 12-5. The Lucky Leprechauns will be joining us with their 4-H animals for a petting zoo (petting zoo from 1-3). Last year the kids absolutely LOVED the funny goats and snorting pigs. ❤️ $1 of your entry fee from Sunday will go towards a donation to the Jeff Co animal shelter. You may also bring a physical donation. Food, cleaning supplies, or a monetary donation towards adoption fees are always welcomed.

$5 entry for Saturday and $6 entry for Sunday. Whimsical Kaleidoscope will bring her artistic mastery and several hand painted items for sale. Cannot wait for another beautiful weekend!!
