This fall the Wheeler embarked on a theatrical rigging system replacement. To date, 2,300 lbs of orchestra pit components were reassembled, 20,000 lbs of steel and metal were removed for recycling, 450 lbs of soft goods, including curtains, were folded and stored, 3,000 lbs of lighting instruments removed and stored, and 6,000 square feet of plastic deployed to protect theater assets from dust and debris.
