Great group tonight! I love being able to provide people space to be creative. It’s therapeutic. Good for the soul. Worth the long day. 💕
15 years ago Diane opened Bloomin Crazy as one of the first tenants after the fire. So honored to be keeping the business going. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported us over the years and keep us going. Come celebrate with us Friday and Saturday with 15% off all our gift items!
After completing my last big wedding for the season I finally have a minute to reflect and be amazed at how much we accomplished this year. We not only had the busiest summer to date but also 3 of the largest weddings we’ve ever done with giant installations. Creatively, logistically and physically we were all stretched. However, I can also say that every one went so smoothly, better than I could have hoped for. So extremely proud of my team. Here’s a tiny sneak peek into the behind the scenes.
Elegant. Classy. #fallbridalbouquet #pnwbride #oregonbride #bridalbouquet #coastalweddings
Thank you @emilynoellephoto for sharing these gorgeous photos of Ireland and Drew’s wedding! 😍
While I was perusing the sneak peek album I was struck by how perfectly the flowers captured the style of the wedding and matched the dress perfectly. The amount of info I get ahead of time ranges greatly. If I’m working closely with a wedding coordinator I usually get a bigger picture of the whole wedding style, especially for large weddings. For smaller orders like this one where I work directly with the bride and I’m only doing the bridal party flowers, I usually get a few inspo pics and a quick description of colors and favorite flowers. I have always had a knack for catch vibes even from a simple description and/or a picture but it’s always fun to see how perfectly it comes together. I rarely get photos from smaller orders but when I do it’s such a treat to see it all come together so beautifully, especially when the day was blessed with perfect weather.
This week has been a busy week with several weddings, Warrenton’s homecoming, anniversaries, birthdays, sympathy arrangements and so many other big life moments for people. We are overwhelmed on the regular with the privilege of being able to be a part of those special occasions. 💕
Today was one of those very full days where I got my breaks in the car driving. My day started at 6 with a quick shower and an espresso before dropping Nina off with my parents then headed to the market, loaded my car up with lots of wedding beauties and drove to the coast while catching up on podcasts. Once at the shop it was a whirlwind of flower processing and putting together this fun terracotta toned wedding. Then I heading back out on the road to do deliveries and hurry back for more flower processing and administrative work before wearily dragging myself back to the car at 6:15pm to head back to Portland. After fueling up and grabbing some food I realized there was a beautiful sunset happening and my soul needed a moment to just stop and get my feet in the water. This is a season of life for me…always busy. These little moments I am able to catch, slow down, notice, enjoy….these are the sustaining moments.

If you have any wedding vendor friends, check on them. They are not ok. Probably on highs from the exhilaration of accomplishment but definitely in desperate need of a vacation and their personal life may be in a bit of shambles. 🤷♀️-I absolutely love what I do. I love the excitement of seeing what all my planning and dreaming actually produces. My favorite is taking a clients vision and making it even better than they imagined. Working with a dream team on this wedding is also just the best. We have a great community here that supports each other well and this wedding was the best example of that.-The feeling of accomplishment after a wedding is an intoxicating high that definitely keeps me going. My body, however, is reminding me that I can’t live on that high. I need rest, too. My hard working crew does as well. We will be closed Saturday through Monday for Labor Day. Until then, come in and grab some gorgeous flowers to cheer up your table or brighten someone’s day. Btw, lots of new inventory has been rolling in. Come check it out while you can!
Who’s ready for fall? 🙋♀️The last wedding of a very busy summer and the setting couldn’t have been more idyllic. On the families own private property, tucked inside a grove of trees made it feel like a much needed calming hug. I also really loved the color pallet for this one. It left a lot of room for creativity and the results were yummy. 🍂🌸🧡🤎♥️
