Change is always difficult, and most people don’t like it. Sometimes change can be the answer that is needed in order to continue. LakeFest has been so much fun, and we have enjoyed it tremendously. But costs to produce the concert have skyrocketed and Stampede has moved their dates too close to ours for us to continue.
We are planning music for Friday night on the Atchison riverfront with details to be announced soon.
Please be patient as we make changes that we hope will help everyone continue to enjoy the festival for years to come.
We are searching for a carnival and will continue to search until we find one that will be the quality we need and is available on our weekend.
Amelia Earhart Festival weekend is a great time in Atchison with so many things to do. Join us as we move forward and celebrate the legacy of Amelia Earhart July 21 & 22, 2023.

The 2023 Amelia Earhart Festival will be held on July 21 & 22.
LakeFest at Warnock Lake will not continue as a part of the Amelia Earhart Festival.
Please follow the Amelia Earhart Festival page for details on this year's events.
Plans are being finalized for Friday night music on the riverfront!

Lakefest 2022 was one for the books, and local singer songwriter (yeah, he lives in Nashville, but he's got Kansas running through his veins!) Erik Dylan started the festivities off with a bang! --Due to unforeseen circumstances The Band Perry has had to cancel their LakeFest performance on Friday, July 15, 2022. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and send our best wishes to The Band Perry.

You HAVE TO HAVE a ticket.
I have emailed each one multiple times.

TODAY is the last day I will mail tickets.

After today online tickets sold will be available at Will Call on July 15th.
From 9 am - 3 pm at the Santa Fe Depot, 200 South 10th Street in Atchison,
