Introducing Lunch Lab — Your New Secret Monday Mid-Day Meal Society

Gimme Gimme Lunch Lab is a monthly special-order meal club featuring craveworthy, scratch-made, farm-to-fork sandwiches, salads, soups, sides, and sweet treats! Our ever-evolving menu will always utilize local seasonal harvest items from our farm and market friends whenever possible to support healthy lifestyles and the incredibly hardworking growers and producers in our region.

Every month, we will publish a new original menu of scratch-made mid-day meals to look forward to the last Monday of the month. Orders will open for 1 week leading up to lunch pickup/delivery day. Upcoming dates are:

ORDER MONDAY thru FRIDAY for MONDAY PICKUP or DELIVERY:
FEB 17 - 21 for Mon 2/24
MAR 24 - 28 for Mon 3/31
APR 21 - 25 for Mon 4/28
MAY 12 - 16 for Mon 5/19

This is a far overdue recap, but I’m still reeling from this Autumn Harvest Farm Dinner with .

I am so thankful for y’all’s excitement for & response to these meals, not to mention the active support of the Athens food community and the collaborative partnership with Attican Farms on these events.

I feel so much gratitude getting to create these dishes while supporting the growers of our area. It is so important to me that we continue to sustain our local farmers — no matter our region — and learn ways to keep our food systems small. There is such an amazing bounty of produce and protein coming from our neighbors whom I am so lucky to call friends.

We’ve already had our first frost here in SE Ohio, so this season has come to an end. But we are already looking at dates for 2025 and plan to hold more pop-ups than 2024. We’re even now considering a Winter event after so many requests from y’all! So thank you, again, to everyone who came to & waitlisted for our meals or shared their interest in these menus. And Thank you to all the talented chefs and community members who offered their skills to assist in making these dinners a reality.

I look forward to serving you all in 2025. And if you’re interested in any catering, private dinners, or meal prep until then, just hit me up!

I feel so humbled and honored by the response and support of the Athens food community for this series of Farm Dinners with . For all the local farmers and producers excited to work with us, to everyone who has offered a set of hands to help execute the evenings, and to each of you who have reserved a seat for our events: Thank You! ♥️ 🙏

Our second event sold out once again in about 24 hours, but there’s still one more chance to join us this season! Tickets for our October 6th event will go on sale the second week of September, so keep an eye out for those announcements! Send us a DM or email to get placed on our waitlist. If any tickets become available for September’s event, we’ll open those seats up. And all waitlist folks get first dibs on tickets to the next dinner in October.

We cannot wait to serve this next menu to you and showcase the love and hard work Kara, Dan, and other Athens-area farmers put into their produce, proteins, and products! It’s a privilege to have access to and share with you these ingredients.

Our inaugural Farm Dinner of the season is in the bag!

A big thank you to our partners who played a key role in making the evening a success. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to showcase our community of farmers.

Mark your calendars for our next event on September 8th, featuring a new menu. Tickets will be available for purchase early next week. Those on the August Waitlist will have early access to tickets, so keep an eye on your email!
