Don’t miss UGA Theatre’s upcoming performances of the “Little Shop of Horrors”! The musical tells the story of when hapless floral shop assistant Seymour discovers a violently voracious plant that brings him untold fame and fortune. Unfortunately, Audrey II needs more than just water and sunlight to grow.

“This production has given us a wonderful opportunity to partner with other Franklin College units,” said Julie Ray, head of the UGA department of theatre and film studies. “The department of plant biology plans to redecorate the Fine Arts Theatre lobby on opening weekend so audiences will get to see the arts and sciences collaborating in a wholly unique way.”

Performances of the “Little Shop of Horrors” will be held in the Fine Arts Theatre on April 12-13, 17-20 at 8 p.m. and April 21 at 2 p.m. with a ticketed preview performance on April 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.ugatheatre.com/littleshop, by phone at 706-542-4400, or in person at the Performing Arts Center or Tate Center box office. This UGA Theatre production is directed by Daniel Ellis with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken.
