The organizing committee is beginning work for the 2nd Annual NENA Porchfest, which is already scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025. .. and NENA Porchfest continues to make the news, even over a month after the inaugural event. Here's another mention by the Athens County Independent.

Along with a repost of photos the Independent took at the Porchfest finale with the Water Witches playing to the biggest crowd Jackie O's Taproom has ever seen.

NENA Porchfest 2025 will be held on Sunday May 18 2025.

Athens Porchfest organizer Rob Delach said the event raises awareness of how important porches are in strengthening communities.

Thanks to the Athens County Independent for covering the Water Witches final show at Jackie O's Taproom as the finale to the first NENA Porchfest 2024 on Sunday June 30, 2024. Check out the great photos by Emily Bartholic that captured this amazing event.
From what we were hearing from attendees, they've never seen Jackie O's Brewery Taproom so busy. Our rough estimate was 400+ people in attendance there.

Porchfest came to an end with a lively night of drinks, music and dancing at Jackie O's Taproom.

Thanks to all of you that came out to the first Near Eastside Neighborhood Athens (NENA) Porchfest! We had an amazing array of local musicians playing on porches and at local businesses as part of Porchfest. We’d love to hear about your experience at Porchfest with the hopes that we can use that feedback to make a potential 2nd Annual Porchfest even better. You might recognize some of these guys from NENA Porchfest 2024 on Sunday during the Celtic music Jam at 3 Watt St.
Well, at least part of the group play regularly (weekly-ish) at the West End Ciderhouse on Thursday nights, including right now on July 4th.

The NENA Porchfest Organizing Committee hope that you had a HAPPY PORCHFEST.
Thanks for coming out to experience some of the best music that Athens has to offer.

We would also like to thank all the musicians that played during the inaugural Porchfest in Athens. Thanks for sharing your amazing music with the community.
