Here's a note from our friends in Breabach regarding their canceled shows at UGA last week.. We wish them a very speedy recovery!

Dear friends

On Monday 28th October, the day before our final performance in the US, our tour ended in abrupt, distressing circumstances in the form of a motor vehicle collision. An unfortunate conclusion to an otherwise brilliant trip.

The most important thing to let you all know is that everyone is now safe and stable with most of the band able to return home to family and loved ones. Conal remained out in the US with Ewan, who sustained some significant injuries but is receiving great care. We hope you will join us in sending love and wishes to our fantastic sound engineer and friend, Raymond Yates, who is also now safely at home but faces a lengthy recovery from the serious injury he sustained.

To say it has been a physical and emotional rollercoaster would be an understatement. I’m sure you’ll understand that the circumstances and recovery times involved mean that we will have to postpone our The Queen's Hall, Edinburgh show later this month (now rescheduled to 25th October 2025).

Like always, we have pulled together as a team and our love for one another has been at the centre of how we continue to navigate our way through this situation - Jenna Moynihan and Ray, you are total stars.

We must say special thank you to Jeff Martin and Blake Schneider at University of Georgia Performing Arts Center who have gone above and beyond to help us, the trauma team and staff at Piedmont Athens Regional, The Carnesville volunteer Fire Dept. and not forgetting our dear friend Hamish Napier Music who has travelled out to Georgia to support Ewan and allow Conal to return home ❤️

A final thank you to David, Lisa, Craig, Matt & the team, not just for their all their love and support behind the scenes but most importantly for their sound advice and encouragement.

Ultimately we have lots to be thankful for and we look forward to getting back on the road and making music for you all soon!

Love and best wishes x

~

Harry Christophers and the British choir The Sixteen brought vocal magic to Hodgson Concert Hall last week as part of its first U.S. tour in nearly 20 years. The program—"The Deer's Cry"—featured music by English Renaissance composers William Byrd and Thomas Tallis as well as contemporary Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. It was such a joy to experience this beautiful choir in Athens for the first time!
