Snow is forecasted in our service areas on Wednesday, February 12 and is expected to continue into Thursday morning, which may impact service. Our team is closely monitoring conditions, and any service delays or cancellations will be shared on our website and on our local pages.

To help ensure safe and uninterrupted service, please follow these winter weather tips: ✔️ Set carts out the night before to avoid potential delays
✔️ Clear a path around your trash and recycling carts
✔️ Use salt where carts will be placed to prevent slipping
✔️ Place carts on a flat, accessible area away from snowdrifts
✔️ Keep lids closed to prevent snow buildup and wind-blown debris

📍 Iowa City Rural Areas
Trash and recycling services will not run this week.
Extra materials will be serviced next week to help get things cleaned up.

📍 City of Oxford
Services have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

📍 University Heights
Compost and tree pickup will be serviced next week on the regular service day.

📍 Coralville HOAs
Trash and recycling services will be serviced tomorrow.

📍 City of Solon
Trash and recycling services scheduled for Friday will be pushed to Saturday for completion.

🚛🌊 Local driver Dylan Seeley made a special visit to the “Exploring All Things Land, Air and Water” event at Coffee House Daycare in LaPorte, Indiana, bringing along a portables truck for the kids to explore! ❗❄️Adverse Weather, Services Postponed❗❄️

This snow is not letting up and the road conditions have worsened! 🌨️ For the safety of our drivers we are pulling all trucks off the roads to avoid any accidents. 🚧 If your waste was not serviced yet, we will be sending the trucks out tomorrow to collect any waste we have not been able to service.🚚 If you still have waste in your cart at the end of the day please have it curbside by 6 AM for our drivers tomorrow! ⌚ We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your support of our drivers' safety. 🙏

❄️ Winter is giving our Christmas trees an extra frosty touch! If your trees are covered in snow, frozen to the ground, or not easily accessible, don't worry. We'll pick them up as soon as the temperature allows us to safely remove them.

🚚 Service Update - Braving the Winter Chill! ❄️

🏢 Commercial Services: Slow and steady wins the race! Our commercial services are moving a bit slower, but our drivers are giving it their all to get things done safely and swiftly.

🏡 Residential Progress: Our residential drivers are making progress, but delays are part of the winter scene.

Rural Oxford IA Subscribers: Monday got a bit icy, so we couldn't finish. We'll catch those extras next week.

River Heights/Sugar Bottom/Overlook/Cottage Reserve: Delays, but we're making a comeback on January 18.

City of North Liberty Recycle: A section needs a second date, so we'll tackle it first thing on today, January 18.

🚨 Service Freeze Alert! 🚨

Winter is no longer just knocking; it's kicking the door down! Due to the upcoming storm on Friday, January 12, all services are taking a pause. The county landfill joins the snow party, closing on both Friday and Saturday, January 13. We'll reopen on Monday, January 15 with our regular routes.

Hold onto those carts! No extra pickups the rest of this week. Extra bags? Don't fret! We gotchu next week at no extra cost for those without service this week.
