This holiday season was filled with nostalgia for all of us at Freshwater Farms. As we reflect on the first 36 years of growing our business, we’re excited about the bright future ahead. The Atkinson community has been incredibly supportive of our family, and giving back has always been at the heart of our mission here at the farm.
At this year’s Christmas party, we asked our 250 guests to bring non-perishable food items for local food pantries. The response was truly overwhelming! In addition to the generous donations of food, our friends and family contributed over $800 in cash. We converted these funds into grocery gift cards and delivered them to two local food pantries: St. Anne’s in Hampstead and St. Luke’s in Plaistow, both of which serve the greater Atkinson area.
At our gathering, Chuck & Susan presented both the Atkinson Police Patrolman’s and Firefighters Associations with contributions to support their services.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this holiday season so meaningful at Freshwater Farms. Photos:
