My bridal shopping experience was a dream! I believe we hit a total of 4 stores before heading into Anne Barge - New York Flagship. After all 4 stores, nothing compared to the way I felt in the “Newport” dress. I loved the shape of the dress but always knew I wanted to add a bolero to give it a little extra detail. We worked with Amanda at Anne Barge and she helped me design my dream dress! The Endless Rose lace was a dream over the white mikado silk of the Newport dress. To my knowledge, a high neck long sleeve bolero had never been made in the Endless Rose lace so to try it on I actually had to wear two dresses on top of one another and use my imagination to picture what it would look like once made. Anyone who knows me knew how much of a big deal this was to me! I’m am a big fashion girl and so to get to feel like I had a unique, almost one-of-a-kind look was such a special feeling for me! About 10 months later I showed up for my first try-on and finally got to see what it looked like together. It was perfect! Jaw dropping! It was everything I envisioned - timeless, delicate, flattering, sweet, and a total moment! The matching Endless Rose lace veil really tied the entire look together to create my dream dress. I know it’s a look that will never go out of style and that I’ll love forever. It truly made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world!” - Abigail

Ensconced within the timelessness of the Atlanta History Center’s Swan House, Sami and Drew’s classic yet opulent wedding unfolded amidst vibrant florals, lush gardens, and the soft strains of a string quartet. Sami truly felt like a princess the day of her wedding in Poetic Light from the Blue Willow by Anne Barge, and her favorite detail about the gown was the matching embroidered flowers from her dress to her veil. The funny thing is, Sami originally wanted to buy 2 dresses (1 gown for the ceremony and 1 short dress for the reception); however, as soon as she put her wedding gown on for the first time, she said she didn’t want to change out of it! An Elegant Atlanta New Year’s Eve Wedding: Love, History, and beautiful Celebration.

“Anne Barge Atelier in Atlanta was my first stop for wedding dress shopping, and I brought my mom and matron of honor, Mallory. Going into wedding dress shopping, I had a good idea of what I wanted - classic, A-line, feminine - the Anne Barge look! After about four or five dresses, our sales associate, Shannon, brought out the Whitaker and I knew it was the one! With white jacquard fabric with subtle dots and sweetheart neckline, it just felt like me. We all cried and held hands as Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” played. All I needed was a bow on the back, and it would be perfect. My shopping and alterations experience at Anne Barge was wonderful, with everyone being so patient in helping me with my perfect dress.

Because we were getting married New Year’s Eve, I had a custom cape made with matching Whitaker fabric in case it was a cold day in December. I also opted for a classic cathedral-length veil from Anne Barge as well.“ - words from Samantha

“I have always been drawn to Anne Barge designs. Classic with a twist. I tried on the Perola dress 3 separate times at 3 different places and even tried to customize a dress similar but couldn’t deny that the Perola was want I wanted. The atelier let me come back in for a complimentary consultation to decide on fabrics and ultimately decided on the beautiful fabric that dress was designed for. The only modifications I decided on was to lower the back down, and add an extra layer of horse hair for extra volume!” - Dawn

“My experience at the Anne Barge Bridal Atelier in Atlanta was exceptional. I tried on the Solana gown, among many others, but after leaving that day I knew I had tried on something special. I came to the atelier again in January on my birthday with my mother and two bridesmaids and said yes to the Solana gown with Shanna. Shanna was so kind, treated us with great respect and really understood my vision for my day.
