So often we wonder what happened to our friends? After the funeral, after the first few weeks, everything grows rather silent. A grieving person is so hard to be around. Parents of child loss understand that. But, there is such a need to have someone just to listen. No big, formal words are needed. Words can't change what happened. But we need a friend to stick by. We need a friend to simply "be there". We need a friend who will sit quietly and listen.
