As a Christian, we live in a world that tell us that we can do anything we want… we can have seccs outside of marriage and do all the things and live our lives according to how we want to live our lives, and then we get saved and come to Jesus and realize that the life we were living wasn’t all we thought it to be. Then we go to church and are faced with the toxic messages of the purity culture and we can’t find a space that is secure enough because of the judgement that we have faced because we experienced life. What happens next? We get married and then struggle with sexuality and the abuse of scripture and now feel we have to limit or subject ourselves to a misinterpretation of scripture…
Women in the church need help period! God didn’t design your seccs life to be one that doesn’t represent Him. It should be enjoyed… pleasure is your birthright so the things you struggle with shouldn’t be a struggle. The marriage bed is undefiled and God wants you to experience all the joys and the fullness thereof.
You gotta know your purpose and who you are called to because the world will challenge that. 🌎

⛅️ Today my therapist said, “I don’t know at all how you are even functioning.” Chronic depressive disorder is what they call it.
⛅️ After having my boys, post trauma hit me real hard and I’ve been fighting it ever since. So many ups and downs…highs and lows… so many good days and not so good days
🌞 But what keeps me is knowing that God said that He would never give me more than I can bear. He has called me to peace… If I’m dealing with it, it means that I can handle it. I don’t need to display my struggles, but I will speak about how I overcame them…
🌞 I don’t need to be seen as a victim but I will be seen as victorious.
🌞 Remember that all things work together for the good and if the situation is not good, all that means is that God is still working it out because it is a new horizon!

Every now and again folks need that reminder to help them understand what it is that I do.
🌟 So here I am reminding you that you are enough. God tells husbands that their wives can fulfill all of their needs… that means that as a wife you are enough for him.
🌟 I also want to remind you to stop comparing yourself, your relationship to others. It will be the thief of your joy. I know you love those reels that hit but those are not absolutes. Just because it sounds good doesn’t mean that it is good for your relationship.
🌟Many think that because we can talk means that communication is simple but it’s actually harder than you think. Communication is a learnt skill and once you have mastered how to communicate with your spouse it changes the game! 🥅
🌟Remember that you are not a robot. God has allowed you the opportunity to explore your desires. He wants you to experience pleasure… says the clitoris.
🌟Lastly, I want you to remember that secks should be a priority. I know your busy and you have a whole lot of life going on however, your spouse wants to engage with you!

As I thought about today, I thought about the labor is not in vain. Many of us have worked extensively in places we felt was not fulfilling but yet we showed up.
Now I need you to do me a favor and apply that same energy and show up for you more than you show up for that job that you’ve been complaining about. If your current situation is where you want to be then fine, but for those who want and desire more, it is time to start creating the opportunities you want. The great news is that you are living in a society where you don’t have to wait on others to give you a seat at their table. You have an opportunity to create your own! Always remember that you are the plug 🔌 and all that you want you can have. You just have to believe that the things you desire are reachable and then you can reach. 🤚🏾
