Emotions, joy, happiness, peace - words that come to mind when I look at pictures.

Story time, my daughter came home from college for the summer. We got to spend quality time together. While out and about she said, mom, I’m going to take your picture because you are always behind the camera. At first I said, no worries, I’m ok not being the center of attention. But she insisted. So, she took my picture. What a gift it was, everytime I look at the picture, I don’t see myself, I feel the emotions of having my daughter with me and that is special.

I hope all my clients have a similar experience when I send their gallery of photos because the emotions of those moments are priceless.

Ok lets be real, some of the poses are just for the parents. Thankfully, the teens humor me when I say, this pose is for your parents. Then I ask them to do poses that they prefer and it allows some variety.

Golden hour cap and gown sessions are so special. The location doesn’t have to be complicated, but we loved the symbolism of the bridge as it’s a transition moment in life for the graduate and parents.

Congrats to the newly engaged Taylor and Travis. The photographer did an awesome job and has probably inspired many.

I would love to recreate this look with a similar backdrop or location in metro Atlanta.
