Todays tea party was a "Baby it's cold outside" themed baby shower! Too cute!

Hot tea, decadent hot chocolate and spiced apple cider kept everyone nice and toasty. I smiled when I hear someone say, Did you try the hot chocolate?" And then proceeded to make some guttural appreciation noises.

Today's tea party was hobbit inspired, and I extra love it for a few reasons; 1. I got to be very creative with the greenery and florals and 2. My clients were true tea lovers and already had 100 teas on hand.

And heres a fun fact for you.

Tolkien created two Elvish words for "tea": in Qenya tyé (clearly adapted from English), and in Gnomish suithlas (literally "drink-leaf").

This Teacup Tuesday is dedicated to this gorgeous and unique coffee set named after a popular Czech singer and an ambassador to the Czech Republic, both named Eva. We all get so used to seeing British or German style teacups that we forget others exist and are actually very creatively designed. I have a little bit of FOMO for not purchasing this set, but it would've ended up in my private collection anyway. What do you think about it?

This teacup Tuesday is dedicated to Royal Albert's Serena; it's such a pretty name and certainly one of my favorite teacups. Shown here in the Countess shape, Serena was out from 1945 to 1977.

We love a pink and yellow combination for this tea party for the Bride to be!

Today's menu: Salmon, corn and sundried tomatoes 2 tier tea sandwich, pastrami and avocado aioli tea sandwich, blueberry and white chocolate scone, buttermilk scones, macarons, and beignets. The tea was masala chai.
