Huge Huge Thank You to Tanglewood neighborhood in East Cobb for running a fundraiser to collect donations to go directly into the Go Fund Me!

They were able to give Scott Hayes of Catering Cajun of Georgia, One of their neighbors the opportunity to feed the food deprived Must Ministries- elizabeth inn shelter, TWICE! That was 2 dinners on 2 different days to the needy and homeless at the shelter.

It costs $700 to provide dinner for the shelter, MUST Ministries are dealing with the overwhelming task of providing for over 33,000 people with food, shelter and clothing in 8 counties in Georgia. They are the most amazing organization.

Due to Covid-19, supporters of the shelter are no longer allowed to make meals and serve, as they have in the past. The incredibly hardworking staff are being tasked with providing 3 meals a day to our homeless community.

The purpose of the Go Fund Me is to try and alleviate some of the pressures off these amazing and giving volunteers.

The GO Fund Me is still running. We have so many great small businesses that have sponsored and supported our School fundraisers, PTSA, Foundations and Community efforts, in the past, that are struggling to survive right now.

We have gone to them, asked for their support and they have always given it, without question.

Now we are paying it back.

Lutzie 43 Foundation sponsored the first of two meal drops from Lucia's Italian Restaurant to Must Ministries- elizabeth inn shelter today.

They fed 70+ displaced, homeless individuals and families living in woods, cars and various 1 room extended stay hotels, a delicious meal of lasagna, mixed green salad and fresh Italian bread.

Mike and Mary Lutzenkirken, founders of the Lutzie 43 Foundation are East Cobb residents going on 30 years now. They are the most amazing, giving people we have ever met. Please take a minute to go their foundation's website www.lutzie43.org to see what they are all about.

They have been touched by incredible tragedy in their lives and have chosen to take their story, and that of their son Philip's and use it to enrich and mentor the lives of our youth in such a postivie way, through their program.

Their faith and strength is inspiring. Truly.

Tim, the owner of Lucia's Italian Restaurant also a long time East Cobb resident, is forever donating his time and services to better this community.
We need people like Tim among us, It's people like him and the other restaurant owners in the fund that have helped make this community into the wonderful place that it is today.

Catering Cajun of Georgia stepped up today in a big way, they provided dinner to 70 displaced, homeless people living in and around the marietta area this evening.
The go fund me will repay their generosity next Friday by ordering food from MUST Ministries shelter from them.

This company is owned by a local family, living in our area for the last 25 years. The Hayes family have been silently spreading love in the form of food donations within our community for a very long time, it's defintely time that we show them our love.

Take a min to check out what they actually do when Covid-19 is not crushing their business at .cateringcajun.com. They fill a need when natural disasters hit our country. They are an amazing group of people.

They have had to completely re-adjust their business model like a lot of local restaurants and catering businessness.

They will now be offering family style catering out of their location, 2421 Shallowford Rd, suite 130, 30066. Stay tuned for their delicous menu.

WZ Tavern - East Cobb abd GC BBQ were able to provide a delicious and hearty meal for 70 displaced and needy families today at the MUST Ministries shelter In and Around Marietta, Georgia.

Must Ministries are doing an amazing job providing food, shelter and clothing for over 33,000 poverty stricken and homeless individuals in 8 counties.

Your donations are allowing these struggling restaurants to survive and making a difference in the lives of people in our community that are less fortunate.

The Covid-19 pandemic has made MUST Ministries task exponentially more difficult. They are currently working with the school systems to ensure that our vulnerable youth are getting meals while not in school.
Please take a minute to go their website www.mustministries.com to see all the efforts they are spearheading. There are many opportuinites to volunteer and donate.

Due to virus restrictions, the community groups, churchs and neighborhood committees that have always filled the need of providing meals for the shelter are not able to do so right now.

The skelton staff at the shelter are tasked with providing 3 meals a day for over 70 individuals.

XenGo Fusion Kitchen & Sushi provided another delicious and nutritious lunch to 35 medical angels Wellstar North Fulton Hospital.

We want to try to feed as many medical heroes as we can dinner at work on Easter Sunday!

We pay the local restaurants $10 per meal + 20% tip for their staff. There are no other fees. So every $12 we raise we can provide a hot and nutritious meal to 1 frontline medical worker.

XenGo Fusion Kitchen & Sushi, Paradise Grille and GC BBQ are staying open on Easter Sunday and would love to provide for our amazing heroes.

Fusion Kitchen & Sushi made 35 delicious dinners for Wellstar Cobb Hospital ICU units on sunday.

Up next is WZ Tavern - East Cobb delivering to Northside Hospital atlanta ICU.

We have 2 more deliveries scheduled for tomorrow, Paradise Grille and GC BBQ will be delivering to Wellstar North Fulton Hospital and Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

We have raised $6,480 so far from the pure genorisity of the community.

We would like to contiue this effort but after tomorrow we will be out of funds.

I ask you to donate if you are in the postion to do so, I realize that this is a very stressful time for many in our community and understand completely that this is not a good time financially for many people. Only donate if you feel you can.

Yesterday We Delivered 35 hot and delicious meals from WZ Tavern - East Cobb to 2 of the medical unit at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

To put this crisis into perspective, Last week they were running with 1 unit to take care of extremely sick Covid-19 patients, as of yesterday they are operating 5 units, out of necessity to cope with the volume of the gravely ill.

It was a very daunting experience, to pull up to an almost abandoned campus of this huge hospital.

Every entrance is closed, there are no visitors allowed, no elective surgerys and an empty E.R.

Every ounce of their resources have been pulled to the 5 massive units that are fighting for the lives of the pandemic patients coming in from our community.

The staff are overwhelmed but so resiliant and strong, it blows me away.

If all we can do to show them that we support them and love them for what they are sacrificing for us, is to bring them some warm nutritious meals, then that's what we have to do!

Thank you to our local restaurants for providing a hot and nutritious lunch to the stressed out and exhausted staff at the trauma unit Wellstar Kennestone Hospital yesterday, Saturday.

Please keep the donations coming, these local restaurants so appreciate your support as they struggle to stay open and pay their staff.

100% of the donations go directly to the restaurant including a 20% tip to the staff.
